Loot
Requirements:
- KBPL
- If the version in the title is higher than the one on the 'recent files' list, then you will have to wait until bukkit approves the latest version since KBPL could be updated and have code that does not work with previous versions of the plugin.
What it does:
The title pretty much says it all! But to be a bit more detailed, Loot makes it easy to create chests with randomly generated loot. The best part? No commands. Oh did I mention that it adds random enchantments to armor and weapons and can spawn random potions? Yeah, that too. Its the perfect loot generator for custom dungeons and worlds with randomly generated schematics.
Features:
- Automatic Chest Regeneration Refills chests automatically using a list of items that you configure.
- Enchantments You can configure whether loot chests will spawn items with random enchantments, or you can specify the enchantments yourself.
- Potion Effects Same as the enchantments, but with potions.
- Item naming Specify a name for the items spawned in a chest! You can also configure the plugin to let it add a random preffix/suffix to enchanted items, dependent of the enchantments applied.
- Lore Add lore to any item for that true rpg feel!
- Books You can set the title, author and text of books generated!
- Colors You can set the colors of the names/lore/whatever of each item.
- Randomness A lot of the properties of any item can be randomized, including the enchantments applied, name, amount, data value, chance for it to spawn at all, etc.
- Redstone Force a chest to reset by powering the sign!

- loot.sign.create - Lets you create Loot signs.
- loot.sign.break - Lets you break Loot signs.
- loot.command.name - Ability to use the command /loot name
- loot.command.reload - Ability to use the command /loot reload
- loot.list.x - Permission to open loot chests of x list

If this plugin is missing that certain special feature, bribe me and I will gladly work on it!
While I am updating and squashing bugs for free, working on new features requires time and everyone knows that time equals money.
I am however, open to suggestions that are directly related and crucial to the plugin.
Anyone figure out a way to prevent this from affecting new chests placed by players?

This seems to be dead :/
And my list, that is added to the world chest spawn (every chest turns into teh contents of the list), has strange prefixes.
Items that have custom names are written in italic and they have a weird symbol in the front that looks like an Ä.
When i remove the list from the world spawn and add a sign under a chest with the same list, it works. Seems like renaming doesnt work for the overall chest generation.
Can you add randomly generated chests with a server-wide message, and extra commands/items to help the players find the chest?

I had the same problem but I solved it taking a look to the texture pack files jeje :D
You don't have to put the ID of the item. You have to put the name, for example an Iron Axe is iron_axe. Example: items: iron_axe: spawn: chance: 100 stack: '1-1'
And the dyes have different name than the name wich appears in the game. here are all the names:
dye_powder_blue dye_powder_brown dye_powder_cyan dye_powder_green dye_powder_pink dye_powder_purple dye_powder_red dye_powder_silver (this one is the Light Gray Dye)

try doing "351:1 and 351:2 etc replace your - with a :
Can someone give me all the names for the dyes.. Ive tried to work it out, but no. I know u have to put 351 then put data value of the code. But u need to put 351-1, 351-2 because im using more than one dye. But u cant use 351-1 as u need to use the code name and not the ID it says in example.. So please someone help

Any support of how to get the items soulbound with the soulbound plugin in chests?
HI, I'm making a Weapon looting system so I made 2 lists: "wapons" and "ammo". In the weapons list I have an Iron Axe (configured with crack shot to be an SCAR-H: Fully compatible plugins). So I put the item: iron_axe on the list. Spawns and everything is cool but the ammo list doesnt work becouse my weapon uses Light Gray Dyes as ammunition, and it seems the name: light_gray_dye is not supported. If anyone knows where can I check the correct name of the item thanks.
PD: BUG!: The config file that comes with the plugin is wrong in the world configs, It should be as this page says: worlds: NameOfWorld: ListName: time: Minutes amount(optional): 'minimum-maximum' radius(optional): Replacing 'NameOfWorld' with the name of the world

To make this work can you hide the signs from the chests like 3 blocks away? And how would you use this for multiple chests close together?
Also i have about 100+ of these chests.. will this cause server lag. I have each chest to reset at 15min
Can You add it individual loot. So if 2 people loot a chest at the same time. there will be 2 different loot for the 2 players. So there will be no stealing etc

Create a new list, then make a sign under it with that list.
How can i name my chest by tiers example tier 1,tier 2 ,tier 3 etc.

Hey Max. I don't think this plugin will be working with 1.7.2.
The reason for this being, when the 1.7.2 CraftBukkit was updated; It came along with a lot of new/changed code. For this reason I think the build will be broken with 1.7.2. It also looks like the author of the plugin has abandoned it because his last update was in April this year. I may be wrong and this might not use any packets/nms code so it could still work. My guess that its broke 1.7.2 and above.
Seems to work okay on 1.6.4 except on mine any items with enchantments are not appearing in chests at all.
edit: Scratch that, it's working fine, was just me making lists wrong. Would appreciate if someone could tell me how you actually do the preffix/suffixes though?

I'm really satisfied with this plugin. The only thing I have to "complain" is that there is no documentation on how to create your yml files in the list folder. I figured it out through rummaging through the comments, but I would have been stumped if not for the comments. Very wonderful otherwise :)
