The only plugin you will need to regulate how your players promote on your MinceCraft Server. LevelMaster will take MineCraft Servers to the next level (no pun intended) in semi-automated, automated and manual group based ranking systems.
Description
LevelMaster will allow owners the versatility in how players can move up in the ranks of your server.
LevelMaster will handle promotions, demotions, rewards, real-time on server promotions, purchase ranks, commands for ranking up/down, skills and skill classes where each class will require a set level to that skill before the class can be used. Skill classes will be ladder based and can also have multiple skills tied to them. For instance, Skill Class Archer would require a Archery Level of 300 and a Woodcutting Level of 200 before the Archer class would be promotable. Additionally will support MC Xp Levels to invoke promotions and demotions. All of this could be used automatically, no intervention by the player or server admins, or semi-automatically where the player would be able to pick a Skill Class from all available Skill Classes within that players range of promotions. Additionally, each leveling rank, ladder, class, etc.. are permission based so players won't be able to rank into a specific level, class, etc.. until they actually have a permission to do so which comes with leveling up.

Hey guys. Back into the scene after a looooooooooong business adventure. Sorry could not to both... Resuming the plugin from where I left off. Will be trying to get the alpha ranking systems together by end of August, but first I have to catch up on some of the major Minecraft and Bukkit updates that affect these rankings and the logic tied to them.

This plugin looks just like what I need for my server. But I do have a few questions... I'll give you the debriefing, my server is going to be a 'Rank-Up' kit pvp servers, using XP levels as a kind of rank. Players start at 'Tier 1' with 0 XP levels, when they get 25 XP levels, they get ranked-up to Tier 2, then from Tier 2, after about 75 XP Levels, they will be ranked up to Tier 3, and so on. Each tier gets a special kit. Would this plugin be able to manage that? ( .5 Levels Per 1 Kill Also) And, would this plugin let me add another rank on top of the Tier ranks and still get XP with that? It also needs to be compatible with buying ranks with signs or being able to auto rank a player after a set number of levels. Thanks!

Yes once the beta is released (soon), you will be able to create and control clans as well as a wide array of clan based commands in addition to all the leveling you can do outside of clans. The clans leveling configuration has it's own (as do the other leveling configurations) settings that allow you to control how clans work and how they interface with the other leveling systems as well as how they interface with themselves and players of the same leveling system and/or different leveling systems. An option I have been thinking about for awhile now (just didn't do it yet) is the ability to allow a player to have up to "x" number of leveling systems that they can level up against. For instance, let's say you are a clan lover so obviously clans will be one of them but because the actions of clans require quite a lot to level up in the clan as well as on the server, you may not be able to invoke such actions all the time therefore you won't level up as quick as you would if you were just using say mcmmo. So thinking about allowing players to be able to choose up to 3 systems at once to level up in system-wise as well as server-wise.
I want to have several clans, where people can earn levels from killing others in different clans, and they would lose levels when others killed them. To kill others, they would use magic spells...when they're, say, Level one, they have access to one spell, and when they level up they have access to other spells (and when they die, they lose access again). Would this plugin be able to do that? Also, I want each clan to have reputation (or like power in factions). It would be different from players skills, but you get and lose it the same way (reputation is basically the whole clans levels combined). Would this plugin work for that as well?

The Kills ranking will be based on a points system, similar to what you mentioned, but those points will be totally configurable, for each mob and for players as well as groups players are in. Basically you lay out the point system and then layout the ranking system from the point system, tied to your permissions system.

Awesome, does is support 'or' promotions, so if a player kills x amount of mobs 'or' kills x amount of players they will be promoted, so if they do either they will promote, instead of it being one thing to promote? Or like a points promotion system, as in if they kill a mob they get 1 point, if they kill a player they get 10 points and they need 1000 points to be promoted.
