Knapsack (backpack)
( backpack ) Knapsacks
Knapsacks are backpacks on steroids for MineCraft. Injected with a ton of options for both players and server owners, Knapsacks should prove to be a valuable asset to any MineCraft server.
Description
Knapsacks allow players to craft & give themselves and other players additional inventory slots. Knapsacks is packed with options for the player as well as for server owners and operators. Among those are the infamous Auto-Filling. Auto filling allows player to control what items get stored in their Knapsacks and when. Depending on how Knapsacks is configured, players will be able to keep items organized in Knapsacks Auto-Fills. Players have,for the most part, complete control on when items are filled to a Knapsack both before and after their inventory is full!
Another under-rated feature is the Knapsack expiry system. This system was built with the server owners in mind to stop the abuse of Knapsacks (crafting excessive packs, giving, dropping, etc..). Optionally, server owners can set limits on how many of a specific size Knapsack each player can have at any given point as well as an overall setting of all Knapsack sizes a player has.
Knapsacks is exactly what the name states, a Backpack on steroids! Jammed with many, many more options and more still coming

Care to help keep Knapsacks alive! I could use a new coffee maker!!
@Milkyway705
Milkyway, can you please elaborate a little more on what you are looking for? What i read is that you would like the player to have the ability to locate a backpack that is placed in a chest??? and make it an option???
If this is the case tracking where Knapsacks are was never the intention behind the plug-in at all and I'm still not sure it needs to go in that direction. Unless someone can convince me it does?
Please add to the player to find a backpack specified in the config file in the chest on the map.
1.0.14 release last night - Packed with options to auto-fill your inventory when it's full and/or before it get's full with preferred items and many more!
grab it now!
@BcsC
Yes in the works. Which language were you looking for? Do you want to help convert from English to yours?
:) You can add language files?
The Auto Filling Page is mostly completed.
Check the pages or go here: Auto Filling 101
@delsolsi213
Sure. I will be putting the entire Auto-Fill features and operations up later today. but it's pretty basic.
If you want items to go to your Knapsack, players can control what goes to each sack with player flags.
NOTE:
Before flags can be set for filling, don't forget
to create the the fill-chain: /ks fill add 1,2....**
In both scenarios the player must specify the "-first" flag for each knapsack. This flag tells the auto-filler to ignore the initial filling chain and try to place it to that knapsack first. The difference between global fill on and off is that items not specified in your fillings preferred items would go to player inventory first (global filling first is off) or directly to knapsacks (global filling first is on).
@zrocweb
im confused, can you give an example on where to add items for that whitelist?
I am in the process of cleaning up the logic that caused this bug and ALL is good now (in fact, better).
1.0.14 will be release within the next 2-3 hours hours
Found bug in 1.0.12 / 1.0.13 that did not come up during the testing. You may see it, you may not. Addressing it now and will have a fix released soon!
@delsolsi213
that's basically what the preferred items does for player control on a sack.
@zrocweb
a whitelist option that only lets players stored items inside that whitelist would be awesome =p
New (patch) has been uploaded and pending approval (DOWNLOAD HERE).
The patch addresses 3 minor pieces of the auto-fill with regard to filling first verse preferred items where I inadvertently left out during a re-write of the auto-fill logic and classes.
My apologies!!
Entire Project pages are being re-designed to make it a little easier to read and follow. Additionally, a new page for the Auto-Fill will be added so everyone has a fair understanding of how the Auto-Fill actually works as there are many options for it as well as logic that is applied based on both global settings the server owner configures as well as player options.
@Milkyway705
Will give the find Monster Egg suggestion some thought. Might not be a bad option.
Regarding if a player drops a Sack when he dies and another player picks it up. There are a few different options that are considered before looting can take place.
One, does the player who picked up the Knapsack have the size permission to open that Knapsack.
Two, does the player who picked up the Knapsack have the modify.other permission to move items from the Knapsack.
Three, if the player has the size permission to open but not the modify.other permission then the items in the Knapsack are safe. Four, an additional bonus feature is that if the player has the size permission and the Knapsack has items it in and the player also has the modify.other permission, he can loot the Knapsack, empty it and then claim it as his own.
Add please detect option - if player find monster egg in chest or another, it automaticly become backpack.
And one question - if player with backpack is killed and another player picked it, loot in it will save?
Release is out. just waiting to be approved. updating pages not with everything...
@zrocweb

Anyways. Just really looking forward to this being done! :)
