Kits
Kits is a simple yet deceptively powerful plugin allowing you to create, edit and spawn custom kits in-game. When creating and editing a kit, you are provided an inventory in which you will be able to place any item into; changes are made when this inventory is closed.
- Manage Kits entirely in-game with a custom-size inventory GUI for you to add items to or remove items from.
- Everything is drag n' drop
- Create a kit with any name. Kit names are not case sensitive.
- Store any item, with any stack size, name, lore and enchantment; you get back what you added.
- Spawn a kit by clicking on a kit sign.
- Toggle Player inventory overwrite for individual kits.
- Create complete inventory kits.
- Add delays between kits. Kits can have their own individual delays.
- Simple in-game commands displayed and explained below!
- Works with CB 1.7.10-R0.1; works with previous versions that support the UUID changes.
- Hopefully fixed time delay issues.
- Time delay expressions can now be stated literally ("1 month and 2 days, 3 hours & 4 minutes" is a valid expression)
- Cleaned some code.
- Added support for Gravity's updater.
Kits is open source and available on GitHub. There's also an API for developers to create their own plugins that hook into Kits:
This plugin utilizes Gravity's plugin update system. By default, it only checks if any updates are available. You can disable the updater in the config by setting enabled to false. types of updates:
- default - automatically update if the current version of Kits is out of date.
- force - automatically update regardless of the current version
- check - do not download, only check the latest version.
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

The information on this page is for an updated version of Kits which has yet to be approved by the BukkitDev staff. Please wait until Kits version 1.7.1 is visible in the Recent Files section of this page.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
This is a great plugin! Yet, I am having one issue with it. I do not know how to do the kit delay command because it seems I do it wrong. I have a kit that's called "Elite," therefore if I want a delay like 12 hours on it I type /kit edit Elite delay 12h Instead, all it does is open the Elite GUI. Am I doing something wrong? If someone can please help me, I would appreciate it!
Thanks!

Glad you found out the problem!
@Misterio7x
Thanks for the help, but I just figured it out! -cool_man625

The page is updated for the new version that still haven't been approved by bukkit staff. In the 1.6 version you can use: /kit create <kitname> [bars] [overwrite] [delay]
<> are nescessary and [] optional, replace [bars] for the number you want ^^
@Dragonphase Hi, when I try to create a kit it only shows the hotbar on the gui. Well, that is one "bar" of the inventory. How can I get it to show all 5 so I can edit the full inventory and the armor of a kit? I read in the config that there is an option, but that option doesn't exist.
@coolUSman625
I recommend you switch to permissions ex, but anyway, upload your file to pastebin so i can take a look at ;)
EDIT: I don't know how they look like exactly as comments don't have correct spacing for that, but try to check if the capitalization is correct
@Misterio7x @Misterio7x i am using GroupManager and i will just paste my perms for all ranks here - -.kit.spawn.GodFather - -.kit.spawn.Starter
@coolUSman625
It seems to be a permissions problem, search youtube on how to configure correctly, and check if you are using spaces instead of tabs. (I can help if you tell me wich permissions plugin you are using, and sending me your permissions file via http://pastebin.com)
@legendarydante31
Just use the overrite feature '--
@dek2reddit
@Dragonphase Thanks for your speedy reply. I was able to get them to work, I didn't really have to use /kit starter, but I just deleted my .dat player file and was able to tell that it still works. I also think the starter kit idea is great!
@coolUSman625
@Dragonphase i forgot to say that i have the kit made
@Dragonphase I am trying to make a server and I have given the ranks kits.spawn.Starter and kits.spawn.kitname.Starter and kit.spawn.Starter but when tested it always says Kits: Invalid Permissions.
@dek2reddit
This plugin uses the /kit command. There is a way to give the starter kit from essentials and still be able to use Kits. I could add starter kits as a feature though!
@Dragonphase Does this plugin conflict with Essentials? I'm trying to have a starter kit given through Essentials but rankup kits given through Kits and it doesn't seem to work. Is there a way that you can give starter kits through Kits?
Updated and awaiting approval. Please take this time to familiarize yourself with the update notes and the changes in permissions and commands.
@legendarydante31
The overwrite flag in the next update will do this.
@ZechariaxII
You need to use "kits.spawn.kitname" where kitname is the name of the kit you want to give permission for players to spawn. If you have a permissions plugin that accepts the wildcard (*) character, such as permissionsEx, you can give players the permission node "kits.spawn.*" to allow them to spawn all kits.
You should make it every time they pick a kit it clears there inventory
Why ? 1- Well Now The Player Cant Pick tons of kits and stack up on items 2- It Makes The Game Fair
Oh ok I'll try both now and respond if it works or not
@ZechariaxII
You will need a permissions plugin. try permissionsEX or permissionsbukkit ;)
