Kickstick

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Use my plugin MyItems instead. It allows you to create items that can execute commands when used.

Basicly, this is a plugin that lets you kick or ban a player by clicking on them with the kickstick or banstick.

Features:

  • Get a kickstick or banstick, which can only be gotten through the command
  • Kick or ban a player by clicking on them with the stick
  • Configurable messages for the players
  • Use color codes inside the messages (see here for information about color codes)
  • Console gets notified when someone uses a kickstick or banstick

Instructions:

  1. Download the plugin, then install it by placing it in your server's plugins folder and restarting the server.
  2. Change the permissions, if you want to (see "Permissions" below)
  3. Edit the messages in the config.yml if you want to (if you did, do "/kickstick reload")
  4. Do "/kickstick" to get the kickstick or "/banstick" to get the banstick
  5. Right-click or left-click on a player to kick or ban them from the server

Commands:

  • /kickstick - Gives you the kickstick
  • /kickstick reload - Reloads the Kickstick config
  • /banstick

Permissions:

  • kickstick.get - Permission for using /kickstick (Default: OP)
  • kickstick.use - Permission for using a kickstick (Default: OP)
  • kickstick.getbanstick - Permission for using /banstick (Default: OP)
  • kickstick.usebanstick - Permission for using a banstick (Default: OP)
  • kickstick.reload - Permission for using /kickstick reload (Default: OP)

Bugs/Problems:

None that I know of.

If you find one, submit a ticket.

Upcoming Features:

None.

If you want a feature added, submit a ticket.

Metrics:

Kickstick automatically collects some very basic information from your server so that I can see how Kickstick is used. If you want to disable this, you can opt out at any time by going to the "PluginMetrics" folder in your plugins folder, opening the config and setting "opt-out" to true.
