JoinEffect
What is JoinEffect?
JoinEffect is a plugin that allows you to give a player potion effects and other cool things upon join.
Features...
- Add any type of effect to a player
- Add a effect for a certain amount of time
- Add strength of effect to a player
- Clear all effects upon join and then re-add enabled potion effects (configurable)
How to install...
- Download PotionEffect.jar
- Place jar file in your /plugins/ folder
- Reload/Restart your server
- Edit config to your likings
- Allow proper permissions to proper groups (PEX (recommended) or GroupManager)
- RESTART your server
- ENJOY!

Right now the only solution would be to create multiple arenas each in their own world and use a perworldplugin plugin. I will see what I can do about adding in a feature like setting regions.

Posted Apr 30, 2014Hi there, I have a lot of arenas all in one world from different plugins, but I'm looking for a plugin that will only give a potion effect for one arena and not interfere with the other arenas or any other join commands from the other plugins. It needs to be a potion effect for a death match from the time the game starts, even if they respawn, to the last man standing. Can this do that? Thank you.

I apologize about the permissions page! I have it fixed now. And the reason that there is no '/joineffect reload' is because it will be impossible for the plugin to change the potion effect in game even with the '/reload' command. You will have to restart your server every time you make changes/adjustments to the config. Sorry if this causes you an inconvenience!

Posted Mar 22, 2014I think this is awesome i definitely would use this. You can give players resistance 4 for like 10 seconds when they join so that they cant be killed. If you would like help with documentation or testing i would love to help.
