What is JavaChat?

JavaChat is the lightweight replacement for the now discontinued "ChatManager" which came pre-bundled with PermissionsEx. JavaChat takes over your chat and puts all player messages through it's system, to allow you to specify a certain chat format which is suited for your server.

How do I use it?

You download the .jar to your plugins folder and reload. From there you will get a "JavaChat" folder inside your plugins folder. From there, you can modify the config.yml to suit your chat format.

How does the config work?

There are currently 4 values that you can use in the chat-format string. They are: <prefix> <suffix> <name> <message>. These can be formatted to something similar like: &c[&f<prefix>&c] <suffix><name>: &f<message>.

Vault

JavaChat requires that you have Vault installed on your server. Without it, JavaChat will cease to function.
