Introduction
This simple plugin allows players to use standard creative flight while in survival mode. Permissions can be set to control who can fly using this plugin.

In the past, this plugin served the purpose of re-enabling client-side flymods after a Bukkit update broke them. A side effect of this functionality was that unmodded clients gained the ability to fly using creative flight while in survival mode. As Bukkit no longer blocks flymods, the original purpose of this plugin is obsolete; however, there was enough interest in the side-effect of creative-fly-in-survival to continue development of this plugin for that purpose. Use the bukkit permission node [coming soon] to grant users the ability to creative fly while in survival mode. This plugin does not have any effect on the use of flymods like VoxelFlight and Zombe's flymod.

If he is open to communicating about working with IBelieveICanFly, then that is fine; however, I will not go out of my way to coax him in into coding compatibility if he is uninterested or unavailable.
VoxelFlight features an in-game GUI that can be invoked by pressing F7. This GUI lets you customize all of the keys involved in using VoxelFlight along with speed settings. VoxelFlight is currently only available as a part of the VoxelModPack and BronyModPack. But shortly after the next VoxelModPack and BronyModPack update (that will include cinematic flying), VoxelFlight will be released for the first time ever as an independent mod. Yes, it will come in the form of a .litemod file that requires LiteLoader.

If you could do that, as do I like CJB mod for its fly, cheats, and hud.. so I would prefere it if CJB could be helped along in getting his flymod to work, of course communicating with him seems to be a problem as I can't get a response out of him on anything myself :D
As for Voxelfly.. thats new to me, I'll check it out,

is exactly what I want, does it have config to set flying toggle key as [F] And does it have [LSHIFT] as a speed modifier key to fly faster? If so I'm ready to test it out as a replacement for cjb flymod... does come it as separate file install like mumfreys other .litemod mods?

Yes it does. A future version will have permission support so that players can be given or denied the ability to fly server-side.
seems to allow everybody to fly with doable tap of space as if they are in creative

Well I can offer you two solutions to this problem: 1. If CJB is interested, we could hand him some code that should assist him in making his flymod take advantage of IBelieveICanFly. We cannot help him much if implementing said code causes other glitches. Such glitches should not be very difficult for him to fix. 2. One of the VoxelModPack developers decided to go to town with our VoxelFlight mod. The latest testing build includes a toggleable flying mode called "cinematic flying" that causes the user to fly in whatever direction their crosshair is pointing. This may be exactly what you are looking for in terms of 3D flying. An update for VoxelFlight that includes this feature (as well as a variety of bugfix) will likely be released within the next week.

Could you help him out, his response was "No idea how I can add this"
His mod is the only one that offers the better 3d flying, and its sucks that its been a month since the trainwreck that is 1.3 came out and still no way of using his fly mod like it was possible before, ie without the hassles.

If CJB releases an update for his flymod to work with this plugin, then you will be able to properly use it. There is no third-party way to patch the currently released version of CJB's to support IBelieveICanFly. I recommend asking CJB about adding IBelieveICanFly support.
this mod would be the ideal fix for the bukkit moved to quickly problem if it had permissions!

Oh well I thought nodus fly was just zombe fly mod except from it's not limited to a slow speed, so I presumed it would work lol.

Is there any way to give support to CJB? I prefer his modpack over zombe.
Or is there somewhere mod makers can go to get support? A friend of mine makes a special client for our server which Im sure he would appreciate having support for this too.

You are using an unsupported flymod. Version 0.1 works with all flymods at the expense of causing a large variety of glitches. Version 0.2 requires an IBelieveICanFly-supported flymod.
Version 0.1 works but 02 does nothing.....

I tried to make it as clear as possible that you MUST grab an updated flymod to work with this plugin. As of now, only VoxelFlight and NolanSyKinsley's altered version of Zombe Flymod are compatible.
I installed the 0.2 version and I get pulled to the ground again. 0.1 at least kept me flying even though worldedit didn't work :(

version 0.2 allows all players to creative fly in survival mode by double tapping jump :/

Yeah boats are messed up too. I had to remove it ><

I have worked hard and long and I have fixed zombe fly in SSP. It will work in SMP as long as you have the /fly command from essentials turned on. I have posted my modded/updated zombe in the original thread.
edit actually I tested my modded zombe and it works fine with this server plugin
