As you know, with Minecraft came griefers - an admin's worst nightmare. The original griefers were fairly easy to beat - most of them had just a single account. Then, the problem got worse. Griefers began to accumulate multiple accounts. Still, the solution was found - an IP ban. But now, griefers, like the pests they are, have evolved once again - many hack clients now have proxies built into them, allowing them to even mask their true IP.
But not anymore. Introducint iBansIP - When a player logs in, it looks up that player's IP to see if they are known end points to the tor network / or any other proxying service. If it finds that they player is, they are kicked with a message - You are IP banned!
I believe I speak for admins everywhere when I say. GOOD FIGHT GRIEFERS.
/ip enable - Enables polling of IPs /ip disable - Disables polling of IPs
