Hunger Games Map Generator Server v1.1
This is a typical Hunger Games / Survival Games plugin with a special feature of regenerating arenas using the Hunger Games Map Generator. This means every arena is different from the last, with different treasure in different locations!
If you find a bug while testing this plugin, please post a ticket.
Also, please upvote this ticket so future versions of this plugin can be more stable.
Lastly, since 1.6.2 I haven't been able to test the server because I can't play offline as an un-named player, if you have an account you don't mind me using occasionally, please PM me (you can change your password until I'm done testing).
Special Features

- Auto-open and close arenas as the number of online players changes.
- Auto-start an arena when full.
- Auto-join an arena after logging in.

- Auto-regeneration of arena after game is over.
- Auto-spectate after a player dies.
- Auto-teleport players to the center if a game runs on too long.

- World management (use a plugin designed for modifying world properties such as mob spawning, I use Modifyworld)
- Special support for other plugins (should be compatible with most other plugins anyway though)

I'm using MultiVerse inventories, so when I regen the world and start another game people keep their items from last game. Any way to fix this?

hi when i create the arena how do i get too the arena?
After some initial struggling, I was able to get this plugin working consistently and reliably with MultiVerse. I did need to run the regen command a couple of times before I got anything more than just a flat world, and I also had to run the mv import command manually.
Here's my command section of the config.yml
commands:
onRegenStart:
- mv unload <world>
onRegenEnd:
- mv load <world>
- mvm set gamemode adventure <world>
Setting the world to adventure mode is optional, you may have a different way of limiting block breakage in the world.

Great plugin its exactly what I was looking for ;)
I have one suggestion display help when you type the command incorrectly or without any parameters (the hg command displays only credits).
The generator is broken if world-container in bukkit.yml is set to something other than the bukkit root directory. (I prefer to keep all of my worlds in a subdirectory.)
There is a getWorldContainer class in the bukkit API that could be used to fix this issue.
Otherwise, looks like a stellar plugin.

Aha! My Worlds was the problem. -solved-
I haven't tested yet though. All I know is that people can connect to the lobby and worlds can regenerate.
The world starts up, but as soon as one player tries to connect to the world, Bukkit crashes hard.

Can I put this plugin in a specific world ? I would like to put this plugin in a secondary world. With multiverse.And is it compatible with the 1.4.7 version ? thank you very much

Since you had made the source code public I just made a modification to it, so that players are spawned in different cycles.

There may be some issues using 1.4.7, I haven't had time to test yet. The invisibility is most likely a Bukkit problem and it's been a problem on and off for a while now.
I'm still having problems with invisible players on start (with multiverse). (Newest Bukkit server, newest HGMGS)
I tried to TP people to the spawn-area when they joined the game, and that seemed to remove the problem, BUT as the game ended, people would be TP'ed to this location and get disconnected as the arena is recreated.
Has anybody seen this and found a workaround?

Hi, players die straight away as they spawn in blocks. Is there something obvious I am missing? Using v1 of the plugin and 1.4.6. Sorry I can't provide any more detail at the moment as not at home. Just wondering if there is something obvious I have missed. Thanks

this works fine for 1.4.6. just generate the map and replace it in the world file.

There is an advanced tutorial here on how to modify the generators. I have heard it is possible to add mod items by using the right item ID numbers.
Would that work with CB1.2.5? i ask that because i run a tekkit server and it's still stuck with that version
If it works with tekkit, i'd love to be able to add custom items and blocks to the generator by some config or something, to addapt it to tekkit or another modpack.
