Creating an enchanting table to enchant spell books

To enchant spell books, you will need:

  • An enchanting table
  • Nine blocks of soul sand
  • Twenty levels and 1 lapis lazuli for each book to enchant To build the enchanting table correctly to enchant books, you will need to place the nine blocks of soul sand below it, creating a 3x3 soul sand square with the enchanting table on top of the middle block. In the end it should look like this:

Enchanting table to enchant spell books

Enchanting the books

The enchanting table now works as a normal enchanting table, but instead of enchanting books with enchantments like protection or fire resistance, it converts the books to spell books. To do this, you have to have at least 20 levels of experience, a book and one lapis lazuli. Right-click the enchanting table, and inside the enchanting slot put one book, and inside the other slot one lapis lazuli. Then, click on the first enchanting button on the top, and if you have at least twenty levels of experience they should get removed, and the book enchanted. You have now your first fresh enchanted spell book!

Accessing the List Of Spells

Do you want to try all the spells? If you are an Op player, you can get the list of spells with the command /spells. Then a winows should open, and you can click on any spell to copy it to your inventory!

The spells

Using the spells

To use a spell, right-click it when you have it in your hand. Then, the spell should do its action. But remember, each spell has a cooldown, so wait for the pling sound to use it again! Depending on the spell this time will vary. Which action will it be? Looking at its name and with a bit of imagination, you should know what it is going to do! Try everything!

Spell types

There are three types of spells, basic, advanced and ultimate.

  • Basic spells are easy to obtain, very easy to dodge and do not provide and excessive advantatge. Their color is red.
  • Advanced spells are harder to obtain, more tactical and advanced and can cause some damage. Their color is dark red.
  • Ultimate spells are very rare, causing a large advantatge and dealing lots of damage and destruction. Their color is dark gray.
There are also some special spells (in color yellow).
Try to guess how to use them and what they do!
