Unicode chars not being saved in db #22

    Hello,
    I am using the plugin called "ColoredText" to add color to my signs.
    When I create a HCS and restart the plugin, the sign does not work anymore.

    Database:
    ?4?lJoin?lHide and?lSeek
    Maximvdw
    /ph join

    It seems like \u00A7 is not being saved as a valid character.

    Using Ubuntu 10.04

    My workspace for HiddenCommandSigns doesn't seem to be working correctly right now...
    I'll see if I can get things escaped properly once it's fixed.

    Yeah it seems like HCS auto sets it to ascii.

    using 'file -bi' in linux the hiddencommandsign.ini is 'us-ascii' when converting this to utf-8 and then performing a reload the file is ascii again
