Herobrine
Who is Herobrine?
Herobrine is a legend of a lost miner who is supposed to exist in Minecraft, although he doesn't and was just some rumor made up. However, he is said to haunt the player and the game, the other Herobrine plugins acted although we was a mugger, disobeying the legends. But this plugin aims to set things straight and bring back the legend that is Herobrine.

What can I do?
You can configure just about everything, what he says, what he can do, who he is, and more. This includes Herobrine's name, messages, and abilities.
- The Github for Herobrine can be found at https://github.com/nkrecklow/Herobrine.
- For the list of commands, type: "/hb" (alias: "/hbu") (requires OP or "herobrine.commands").
- Ignore players with the permission "herobrine.ignore".
What can he do?
Following the legends, Herobrine is able to do many things, growing with each update.
- Randomly place signs with creepy messages.
- Randomly place torches around players.
- Play sounds of footsteps and creepy noises.
- Steal from chests and inventories.
- Targets alone players, and is more active at night.
- The ability to create and build pyramids.
- The ability to create and build TNT traps.
- "Possession" where the player looses all control.
- Spawn a random amount of bats when he spawns.
- Ability to enable and disable everything he does.
- Destroy torches near players.
- Spawn random (and angry) wolves near players.
- Create rings of fire.
- Create graves.
- Rearrange chests or inventories.
- Give players books with custom messages.
- Cause random explosions or lightning.
- Launch the player into the air.
- Put your head on a pike.
- Randomly spin and rotate the player.
- Destroy chests and drop their contents.
- Randomly set the player on fire.
- Creates nether infections, where hell meets Earth.
- Can decay nearby flowers, turning them into mushrooms.
- Randomly generates "hotspots", where actions are more likely to occur.
- And more, I'm always expanding the plugin!
Did somebody say custom mobs/items?
There are three mobs currently, you can check them out on the images page:
- Unknown Demon drops a Blood Gem.
- Fallen Angel drops a Greed Gem.
- Hell's Guardian drops a Midnight Gem.
- Religious Follower drops a Satanic Book.
- Together the three gems can be combined to create Herobrine's Sword.
A = Blood Gem, B = Midnight Gem, C = Greed Gem
A B A
B C B
A B A
Can I use an API?
There is a built-in API. It allows developers to register their own actions and commands. Simply import the latest version of Herobrine as a library, and code away.
Plugin plugin = getServer().getPluginManager().getPlugin("Herobrine"); if (plugin != null) { Herobrine.getActionManager().addAction(myAction); }
Example action: Here
@KellyVeit The action-chance is a variable that controls how often something occurs when the event fires, and should never be one, which is why it starts high. And the skin is coming, its just a pain in the ass :P
Edit.. I am just going to delete all that and encourage a decreased rate of attacks, and the Herobrine skin. :)
@ostrich160 Lol, I'll add a config option for it.
NO NO NO, Keep the zombie bug thing, it make users think its just a random zombie, but when it diapers into the distance and users see the structures it has created, they will know somethings wrong...
ok, sorry "
@effji69
Too many people have asked this same question already, I do not know if steaks4uce can implement this into the plugin. It is really up to him
The plugin citizens don't need spoutcraft and you can take skins of other people and Herobrine's skin too. Maybe you can draw with this plugin ?
Good Job I love your work and i wait impatiently !
Hello, today i want test this plugin :-D
@Pssquadou Hmmm, once I'm done here with my Pigmen plugin (It adds pigmen!), I'll look into it. Keep in mind, it may not be added in as I still have yet to make the skin work 100% and still have to work out all the bugs, but I'll try!
@Darkline7725 I awnsered this on the forums, do not spam me, if I reject it once, I'm not going to accept it later.
@Pssquadou Sorry about my earlier reply, I had been up all night working on Herobrine's skin. Yes, that tends to happen with the random odds, I'm trying to fix it for 1.0. And I'm also trying to minimize the total amount of attacks, so they are less common.
@Pssquadou Nice .. Pls I wan´t this feature :D
Hi I dont know how this plugin works. Im just noticed when you log in with the name "herobrine" you get the skin. i hope it helps you somehow

herobrine tries to burry a player alive!! Maybe it's made up, but the idea is neat
@steaks4uce
no It was also in the server logs. Today it didn't happen, I guess it was just a big coincidence with the probability lol Sorry about that.
Herobrine creates random constructions, such as pyramids and long 2-block-high tunnels. He also burns down, or cut off leaves from trees, and creates cobblestone-complexes underground, much like dungeons, lit with redstone torches.
From the MinecraftWiki http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Herobrine
Can you add this Features :)
@Pssquadou Then your players are blind. Theres 10 other events that happen way more often then the attacks.
hum, I might have a inconveniency, Herobrine seem to only attack my players, not much stalking or spooky stuff, he just attacks... And for some reason he always seem aim at the same player.
I suggest that Attacks should be more rare and add more spooky stuff :P
@RejectedShotgun It doesn't work like that....
Do what citizens does to get the name above the head to get the skin with it!
