Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

In reply to Forge_User_37595167:
Nope, hostile mobs are always hostile, and it isn't fair to make a player indefensible against a hostile mob. An addon can do this if you want to, or just have your players build enclosures like they do on my server.
I there a way to disable the defenseless player protection?
In reply to eilrahcrrodrl:
Yea, in config and in documentation. protectfreshspawns
Hey, I'm a server owner and I wanted to make it so my staff were able to subdivide and trust other players in some of my claims. Is that possible?
In reply to NavyDoctorDoom:
Yes, that's possible, I suggest to use Admin claims for that
Good plugin, terrible support. I don't see a single response to anything. I had some feedback, but its pointless to say.
In reply to eilrahcrrodrl:
There exists some big red text.
If I install this, will I be able to have it only run on certain worlds if I have the multiverse plugin installed on my server?
so I was claiming my spawn with the golden shovel, and when I got a test friend, it said, "you don't have an administrates permission to build here.", so good, but the rest of the world said, "you can't build here unless you have claimed land first". Is there a way I can make the world "mine-able" all places except for those that are claimed?
is this plugin preventing wither spawn? I'm trying to see why I cannot summon the wither - which plugin is preventing it.
my question is why isnt there a /claiminfo anymore?
In reply to Kirito45678:
yes, it used deprecated APIs that were removed in 1.13, and since its only purpose was to identify mod-generated blocks, there's no use for this anymore.
Would it be possible to share a pet with someone? Like so me and my friend could both use a horse without having to /givepet everytime.
hi im really struggling here i have seen that other are having the same problem and i hope that there is a easy fix. i have installed the GriefPrevention plug in and it looked like it was working fine so i went ahead and made my server and made a world. only when inviting my friends to play with me did the problems come to light. even when trusted with the /trust [playername] for example or the /containertrust they cant open anything even doors. there isn't even a text that pops up saying you cant open this. only when they are op's dose the commands seem to kick in. i am sure there is a simple fix to this but i cant find one in the config or online to help me. im not a wiz at this sort of thing so don't know where to look so if anyone has any idea or even having the same problems it would be amazing to sort this out as i can tell im not the only one.
anyway any help would be amazing cheers
In reply to Forge_User_75414037:
Is this near your spawn? Your friends may not be able to do anything because of spawn protection. Hope that helps!
Hey. Awesome plugin, but i have a bit of an issue. Namely I have made a trading hall with villagers using zombie discounts. However as long as the land is claimed, zombies wont hit the villagers. Am I missing something here? Couldn't find anything on this in the config files.
To simplify - I want zombies to hit and zombify villagers on a claim.
Thanks
how to get permissions with all player?
In reply to Forge_User_03633612:
Im having the same problems. Even when trusted my friends cant open doors or chests unless they are op's but i cant op everyone on my server
the /claimexplosion keeps resetting everytime we reload the area is there a way to keep it on true?
is there a way to make it easier to go through all the pages with a clickable arrow for previous and next page instead of /co l 1,2,3, etc I don't know if this can be done within the grief-prevention plugin or if I need a secondary plugin to do this
