Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

How can I disable the invulnerability when player is killed and their inventory is empty? PvP is disabled on my server, yet the message still appears.
@tmorrish
I think i fixed it the worldname need to be added to both sets of lists
I posted a Tickit on this but was wondering if i did something wrong I created a Flat world Useing MV I set it to Creative I edited mf GP config.yml and add the last line
Worlds: - world - world_nether - world_the_end CreativeRulesWorlds: - Creative
I have reloaded a few time but i get the You must claim land message that i want but when i try to claim i get the Landclaims not enabled
@Eoden13
I'll look into that
@Absolutionmc
It's in the works, I had some plugin work I had to get done that interrupted the time I had to work on it.
@FussyMath
Either update to java 7, or use the build from jenkins: http://build.yu8.me:8080/job/Grief%20Prevention/5/ (I accidentally compiled it for only java 7)
@defkult
You would have to go through manually through all the files and change them at the moment. I might add a feature like that in the future though.
@IdealIdeas
I'll see about adding a permission node for that.
My players need this plugin, but I do not.
How can I make it so chat isnt spammed when placing a chest for me?
Is there a way to transfer claims between worlds? I had a world named "new", players claimed in that world, now I changed the world name to "world" and renamed all the necessary files. But a bunch of claims are not found because they were made in "new" and not "world" even though they are the same world, just different names. If there isn't, it isn't a big deal. I was hoping for claims to be separated into folders. For instance all the claims made in world "world_nether" would be stored in a folder "GriefPreventionData/world_nether" it would make things like this easier. I'll go ahead and submit a ticket.
I got errors with the 7.6.3-beta version. I'm using CB version 1.5.1-R0.1 build #2703
Hey Tux2 any ETA for the BlockFromToEvent fix? Thanks :)
Hello Tux2,
very good work with this plugin.
How will I be able to add a Mystcraft age to the Worlds in the config. None of the following were accepted: - Spawn - spawn - DIM_MYST4
is there anything that I am missing?
Regards, Voulxe
does anyone else have an issue with grass not growing back in areas that are claimed by the administrator claim action?
checked config file and can't seem to find a missing option...
tried using restore nature but it says the land is claimed by an administrator and I cannot use restore nature on that area...
does anyone else have an issue with grass not growing back on land claimed by an administrator?
*** FEATURE REQUEST ***
Currently only players with admin perms can see the last time a
claim owner logged on.
I'd like all players to be able to see this.
That way when the claims expire they can raid them for resources.
Maybe something like griefprevention.claiminfo
thanks
@greenpeppers100
As far as I'm aware, then this should be the required changes: http://pastebin.com/wLcFKfiK
This plugin looks amazing! Going to add it to my server soon. BLOCK CITY JAIL IP: 66.225.198.138:25615
can someone teach me to config the config.txt for tekkit because I cant figure it out
@kyrosiakio46
Give them the permission node: griefprevention.lava as it applies to both lava and water... *makes mental note to do some changes to that*
@Qezden
Yeah, the beta is only compatible with Minecraft 1.5 and up as stated in the description for it.
[Fixed issue]
Hi, we are having the same issue as tallett, but we are using mcpc++. The shovel and stick do not work with clicking, but the shovel does tell us how many blocks we have. It gives us a console error and tells us nothing in game. Is there any way for us to fix this error?
PM CONSOLE: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError HOPPER_MINECART
[SEVERE] Could not pass event PlayerInteractEvent to GriefPrevention v7.6.3-beta
Disregard this as we have fixed the issue, anyone else looking for the answer, I removed the griefprotections folders and downloaded the stable version, one of those things made everything work. In my retard moments, I downloaded the beta, not stable.
@Tux2
Hi,
Im trying to remove a vanilla block from protection list (116, Enchanting Table). Do you think you could add a way to do this in the config file?
How do i allow players to use water buckets outside of their plots? They use it for daily tasks such as using water for cobwebs :P
Alright tux thanks! Server really needs to be optimised and Grief Prevention's Blockfromtoevent is the only thing left to eliminate all the lag. I'll probably donate after the feature/optimization is added, thanks!
