Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

@Qballl
There's some but it's outdated. Just take a look at the source code if you'd like to know what something does, he has lots of comments explaining what does what.
So there is an api but no documentation for it?
@bigscary
thank bigscary. I think i try manythings more than you said , So I end up with FirstJoinPlus plugin that do command /claimbook %player for me, with permissionsex to allow it :) Thanks anyway i delete everything and even try new map. maybe i miss somethings ,but its ok now.
@VittoxWL
I'm not sure I understand your question. If there's no PvP anywhere, that might be because you have PvP disabled in your vanilla server.properties file. If you mean you get a grief prevention message in land claims saying you can't pvp here (but you can outside of land claims), then there's an option in the config file to allow pvp in certain types of land claims, or all of them if that's what you want.
@Qballl
Yep, just set up a reference and poke around. There are no up to date developer api docs.
@pooroo
It's tough to make it work when you're just testing it. While you're offline, delete your player data file (in the world folder you logged out in), then deop yourself and log back in, and wait 30 seconds.
@foxi69
It's on for creative mode worlds always. There's a config option to make it work in survival worlds, which defaults to off.
@Yupie123
I deleted the page because it was terribly outdated. For now you'll just have to use the code comments on github. Sorry! I've got a todo list of tweaks and minor bug fixes, and then after that's done I can come back to API docs - but I have maybe 1 hour of free time per 2 days now.
Hello,
I was wondering where I could find the API documentation? I'm not able to access this page anymore: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/public-api-documentation/
@bigscary

Yes. Look at source code or use the intellisense in intelliJ to get the methods/fields you desire.
@SadBlues
Does it work when you have no other plugins installed? Also provide output of /version
@VittoxWL
Disable PvP rules for that world in the config.
Hi there!
I'm having the same issue as desertrose0601
I'm running my server on Fragnet, I've got the latest Spigot update and the latest update from GriefPrevention (14.5.1 or something like that)
However, shovels still wont claim and sticks do nothing. :/
Is there any sort of an api for developers?
@bigscary :
There is an issue, that prevents my PvP world to have PvP, nevertheless the area where is the arena isn't protected with GriefPrevention. Is there any way to solve it by editing the config or anything?
Hope you answer, VittoxWL
@groovyloopylou
Fixed in latest. :)
@foxi69
I'll add a command to delete claims in a specified world.
@Jikoo_K
Thanks! When I'm feeling brave, I'll take a shot at using that instead of my own thing. Right now I'm afraid to touch that old code, who knows what important details I've forgotten. ;)
@bigscary
It's the last log out time, not in. It still will return the previous past log out even if the player is online until they leave the server again.
Can you add an opinion to regenerate some worlds but it will except the claims. for example for the_end and for the nether
Suggestion that has been requested by players:
Frost walker is a pain, although it is supposed to remove the ice we are finding it is less than reliable and it is breaking various mob farms.
Is there any way to disable this effect in claims for anyone without a trust permission?
@fierceprestige
Update your server. You need a later 1.9 version.
@desertrose0601
Buildtools.jar is what you get from spigotmc.org. When you run it, it gives you the latest server jar file. If you've been directly downloading your server jar file from somewhere, cut it out - that's both illegal, and dangerous because it may contain malware.
@desertrose0601
When was the last time you ran buildtools.jar? Maybe you have an outdated server version with a bug for player interact events.
i continually get this error?

@BobCat00
Okay I got that /claimbook and It tells me gold spade and stick. I tested it again today w/ the 1.9 version of the plugin working and the gold spade and stick still don't actually do anything. When I put the plugin back to the latest 1.8 version, they work fine except for subdivides don't work properly.
@bigscary
I've been doing hacks like that for 40 years. In this case, it was only used temporarily so I could transfer the claims to players who have been away for a long time.
The JavaDocs say that getLastPlayed returns the "date of last log-in for this player".
@desertrose0601
If you give yourself the book with /claimbook, what does it say the tools are?
@bigscary Not sure what you mean by buildtools.jar. I don't see that file in my server files. I'm running a BeastNode server with CraftBukkit 1.9, and it seems to keep itself up to date automatically. It says it updated itself last on 03.25.16 - which is today. I downloaded the latest 14.2 today of your plugin and restarted my server. Didn't work at all. Golden shovel and stick act like they're not even a thing.
