Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Is it possible to allow a player to be switched to OP/DEOP or Creative/Survival automatically when entering or leaving a claim?
@Qezden
Are you using the build that works with 1.4.7?
@xDizasterCYx
What version of minecraft are you using?
@x_clucky
It died at the mySQL server according to that stack trace, not the plugin. What version of Java are you using? Also, you're lucky I didn't just delete your comment. Remember, I'm new to the development of GP and I probably wasn't even around when you submitted the other ones.
@marubal21
Yes, mobs still spawn within a claimed region. If you want to stop mobs from spawning use the plugin GPFlags, linked in the description above.
do mobs still spawn within a claimed region?

This is my FOURTH time reporting lag with this plugin. Up until this point, I only had evidence from NoLagg which the developers of this plugin simply turned down as a bug with NoLagg. I believe the lag to have something to do with the Storing/Retrieving of MySQL data. I am currently using the MySQL setting while the MySQL server is on the same machine as the minecraft server, so there SHOULD be absolutely no lag whatsoever with this process if it was coded correctly. I currently use a plugin named iMonies, and I spammed 50 transactions per second with absolutely no lag whatsoever; so it makes no sense to me that that plugin can do that, and this one can't even proccess 2 blocks per second. If you have also had horrible lag with this plugin, please post a reply with the following text, Thank you. Oh Yeah! I also have the error that I mentioned earlier proving that this plugin is in fact causing lag: http://pastebin.com/5DSN7iAx . It will probably be turned down as useless evidence by a developer, however, here is the NoLagg 10k tick scan: http://wocl.net/errors/ServerLag/GPLag.png
@EpicATrain Yes you can by typing "/accesstrust public"
Can somebody tell me that player can use bow to open another player's chest is bug ? Or how can i fix this issue ?
Is there a way for me, a regular player, or an admin to set a claim so all players can push buttons, and flip switches?
Hey, could you fix the number of decimals in the next update please? At the moment, using /buyclaims, showing something like 10 decimals. Round it up to 2 or something :)
2. Any way to enable TNT in parts of the overworld, for example in warzones??
@EHAndrew - I have a request for consideration which I also mentioned to the GPFlag developer, in case it's something that can be resolved with a flag, but I'm really not sure.
There are some situations where I would like to allow dropping of items in creativerulesmode. I use Clearlagg so even if players drop a lot of items it will remove them every so many minutes. That being said, we can't get certain redstone circuits to work properly where dispensers are concerned and I'm thinking it may be related to the restrictions on dropping of items. In a perfect world, as ADMIN I'd love to be able to set a flag inside any specific claim that would allow dropping of items so that dispensers work properly. Otherwise, the ability to simply turn off the restriction for creativerulesmode across the board would be great. I don't want to necessarily remove creativerulesmode altogether as I like most of the rule sets.
Are there any other workaround/solutions that anyone can think of?
Warmest Regards, JAG100
Hi, we have been using this to protect our server for about two months now, and it has been doing very well for us. We are having a small issue with new players placing chests, there is no initial claims being made, hence we have lots of new players having no idea about how to claim, and getting no claims at all. It seems to have all the sudden just stopped making claims, gold shovel claims still work perfect. Is there anything I can check to make it work correctly again? We are running tekkit build, 1.4.7, 0.6.1. Thanks for the great work though.
Hey a while ago i said i couldn't claim with a shovel and u asked for any errors in the console, and versions and stuff heres a a link to all the info i was able to get http://paste.yu8.me/?6d5ef169e1e02c76#DSEf23zwXpm1w25afrpFNfxfxdqRdf2T61g+W1NwvF8=
Have you considered making this a mod instead of a plugin. I have had to remove mcpc+ as well as bukkitforge and run just forge. I had to switch to mytown and it is difficult to setup for my users.
@belchinbertha
It could be the thunder and lightning. Have you got worldguard, you can protect it from there.
Have you got logblock, a simple lookup command would tell, who or what turn on the fire.
For some reason on a new claim I made (made without a chest, just golden shovel) my gold chests will not lock.
@SillagoCraft
Check to see if you have to correct version of the .jar file. I had the same problem but realized I used 1.5.1 instead of the 1.4.7 I needed.
Now that I've figured out how to work this, I LOVE the way it works. BUT I would like to know if there will be a feature (or maybe already is one) that will prevent a single player from starting fires, or even log the player that starts fires? Having issues with a player (we THINK we know who it is) and have been trying to catch them starting fires, but unable to as of yet.
The fires don't spread because of this plug in, but there are SEVERAL fires all over the world that have to be put out now, being able to know which player it was would be GREAT!! :)
I figured it out. I used /ContainerTrust all That set it for public use!
Grief prevention Right Clicking Not Working
Grief prevention has kinda stopped working. When players right click it wont claim. It could be conflicting with another plugin but im not sure. Any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks for your time
Loving the new logo!
