Grief Notifier
The Grief Notifier is a plugin that prevents players from using common grief tools or placing common grief blocks like Lava, and TNT. Also, this is my first plugin. So if you have found any bugs, or suggestions, please feel free to create a ticket.
Features
- Prevent players from placing TNT
- Prevent players from placing Bedrock
- Prevent players from using Flint and Steel
- Prevent players from using Lava_Bucket
- Broadcasts the message to the whole server when they placed the one of the items
- TNT does not explode even when you placed and activated it
- Records a block placement in the plugins folder
Permissions
- griefnotifier.bypass - bypass the illegal block placement. default = op
Upcoming Features
- Toggle the each items whether to allow them or not.
- block records when block destroyed
Installation Guide
- Download the latest version
- Locate the /plugins folder in your server main folder
- Put the "Grief Notifier.jar" into the plugins folder
- Run the Server

Posted May 20, 2012Hmm.. If the plugin goes removes, there is no way To remain the same. Make sure you go to folders and check That the plugin is hided. Also, the permission is not working Since it is for Permissions by yeti. Which is outdated. So Im working On to update a permission node to vault node. Thank you for feedback.

I develop for a server known as Fallcraft, and I'm having an issue with your plugin. After installing the plugin, I decided that it went against the nature (factions...) of the server. So after deleting the plugin and removing the folder via FTP, my players still could not place tnt or lava, and fire does not spread. I checked multiple times to see if the plugin files were still existing and they weren't. After this, I re-installed the latest version of the plugin and added the 'griefnotifier.bypass' permission to the default class. After doing this, my players could still not place tnt or lava, and fires still will not spread. I have tried many different ideas to remove this issue to no avail. I would appreciate any assistance with this matter.

Posted May 11, 2012I'd have to agree with Grovert11... a config for each log type would be good. Once the new configs are in place and the "logging everything" bug is fixed.... I would say this is by far the best simple grief logger available. It works as advertised and does not require any dependencies!

Posted May 9, 2012With version 0.5 The plugin logs ALL the blocks that are placed, but not lava... Also, Lava isnt blocked, but tnt is, so its not the permission. Maybe you should add an option in the config to specify which blocks it should log? I hope the option to specify which blocks to block comes soon! Keep up the good work!

Posted Apr 29, 2012I see great potential in this plugin! You should add a config file to specify which features you want enabled. I'll use this plugin if you add permissions, because this will also enable multiworld support and I need that badly. Keep up the good work!
