Give Anything Listener
Introduction
This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one.
This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server.
If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin!
The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc...
This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above!
When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder.
It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |
Configuration

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Are there any plans to bring this plugin to 1.9? I saw the premium spigot page, but am hoping to not need to pay for the update.
So I was wondering if i could trouble anyone for some help. I have set this up decently on my server but ran into a snag. Seems that when I need to do a server restart all the votes players made for the time being are reset to 0. Is there something im missing in the config to make it so it doesnt reset the votes or does that have something to do with votifier?
@Disorbs
I think you can just remove the commands section. If not, try commands: []
So trying to get some help on editing the rewards more if possible. So there is more then just the default that is there. My players want more options and can't figure it out. Please help if someone. Not sure what I can do to get more rewards then the default and lucky rewards.
How can I make it so it doesn't send anything besides the broadcast that the player voted because I get a "Unknown command. Type "/help" for help." in my log when a player votes, this is for my Hub so I dont want to give out anything.
@IamSicky
Sounds like either a port is blocked/wrong, or you used the wrong IP on those sites
@IamSicky
Did you give the correct Public API that is in your votifer folder? If that's wrong you wont get notified in game of votes. I also suggest maybe giving a console error log.
Whenever players vote the /votetop doesn't work and when the server reloads, all votes are wiped (everyone has 0 votes even if they've voted before). How do I fix?
When players vote, the vote goes through on the website, but not in game.
@unclemark
/gal reload
@Disorbs
because it's attempting to send a command with no information. Since the command line includes the "/" that a player would have to put in themselves, it's trying to do '/{space}' which isn't a command. I'd say enter a command that does nothing or enter the reward command.
What's the command to reload the plugin in game ? (after changing some rewards)
How can I make it so when they vote nothing appears on the screen?
i just ended deleting the text
but now it spams my console saying
"unknown command. Type "/help" for help."
i have this for the Hub server so players can vote Globally but this causes a massive Log file lol
@CoolLord22
Use PEX timed Perms for that not this....(But you can use this to run the command to add the timed perm.
Okay so I am in DIRE need of help. I own a server with 8 vote links. I would like to have it so that voting on each link unlocks certain WorldEdit commands for 3 hours. So, by voting on all 8 links, you unlock WorldEdit for 24 hours. Is there a way I can make this happen? Like have the time stack up with each vote? Thanks in advance!
This plugin is offically being updated and support provided over at SpigotMC.

Please note it's now a premium plugin to motivate Swifteh to continue with the development of features due to his busy schedule.
HEY,
Can you have different rewards per world with this plugin?? I would really like that to be added beacause i like the way this listener works!

Fully agree with @aviswing
@aviswing
I support you. Maybe Bungeecord will work?
@darktilldawn
I'm with you, darktilldawn. I need the same thing for the same reason :).
Ah, just found this for us: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/give-anything-listener.4501/ Try there; it's the same plugin.
Nice plugin, can you please make it so you can have different rewards/commands in different worlds? Example:
Worlds:
world: commands: - /give {username} diamond 1
world_nether: commands: - /xp add {username}
world_the_end commands: - /eco give {username} 200
If you could add them it would be awesome!
