FlyDisabler
Did you ever want to disable fly in a certain world?
This plugin is your solution!
FlyDisabler allow you to disable flying for normal users in any world you want.
It's a very simple and lightweight plugin.
You only have to download and put this plugin into plugins folder of your server.
Then start and stop server. The plugin will generate a sample configuration file.
Now edit your config adding the name of the worlds where you want to disable fly.
You're done!
Now just start the server!
This is the default configuration.
This simple config prevents users from flying in world.
From version 0.3 of FlyDisabler you can customize plugin messages with every message you want.
You can also use color codes (ยง).
You only have to modify the config.yml file, then reload with command.
Instead of /flydisabler you can use /fd as an alias.
Command | Permission | Description |
---|---|---|
/flydisabler reload | flydisabler.admin.reload | Reload the config |
- | flydisabler.exempt | Allow a player to fly in world where flying is disabled |

Thanks to FeerBreezy for this spanish review!
To let me know plugin's stats you only have to leave opt-out setted to false in config.yml
Thanks!
What is exactly read/sent by Metrics?
It is not possible for Metrics to control the plugin in any way except for plugin-specific code the plugin author implements.
Nothing is downloaded, so what you get is what the plugin author implemented.
The following data is read from the server in some way or another:
- File Contents of plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml (created if not existent)
- Players currently online (not max player count)
- Server version string (the same version string you see in /version)
- Plugin version of the metrics-supported plugin
- Mineshafter status - it does not properly propagate Metrics requests however it is a very simple check and does not read the filesystem
The following data is sent to http://mcstats.org:
- Metrics revision of the implementing class
- Server's GUID
- Players currently online (not max player count)
- Server version string (the same version string you see in /version)
- Plugin version of the metrics-supported plugin
- Any custom data the supporting plugin implements. This is variable and I am not responsible for this however usually it is just plugin-specific data (e.g for LWC, the database type: MySQL or SQLite, and Locale used (english, german)).

@johandre
Hi!
If you want a plugin that actually disables flying when entering or connecting to a world and not just blocks the /fly command, I recommend using this new plugin : http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/anti-world-fly/
If you still fly in a normal world and enter the world where fly is disabled you're still flying until you touch the ground.
This is a bug one of my players report. 'I was playing on Friday flying around on my island and went to the shop still flying and discovered that I could fly.'
LOVE IT! PERFECTLY! Thanks!
I was thinking this disable fly. But it only disable command /fly... You can do with other plugins... I am looking for plugin that disable fly if players go to world game and do /fly and then come back to spawn and he can still fly. But this doesn't do that :(
@geekyservers
Hey, Happy Easter :)
sorryfor the late reply, but I have been busy for a while.
Now I'm back and I've just submitted an update of this plugin which supports 1.7+ (even 1.7.9). Hope you still need it :)
Have a nice day!!
Does this work for anyone in 1.7.4?
NOTE: A new (v0.2) version with Metrics included is under approval.
@PluginPvP
Thanks!! I'll take a look at it as soon as possible ;)
@Senor_France
Yes, just give player/group the flydisabler.exempt permission.
Hi, nice plugin, I love it! I reviewed it on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uovge7cFSxI&feature=c4-overview&list=UU9kcuW6n7sVrZEicipP01rw
ok, on my server since i am OP i can fly. Can non op players fly??
@highfaller
Thanks for your review :)
Awesome plugin, works perfect for what I need it for. Wanted to make a SkyBlock world instead of adding it as a separate server using Bungee, works wonders to disable fly for my donators. Thank you!
@Jamesst20
Yes, this isn't an anticheat plugin.
Sorry guys, according to this : http://i.imgur.com/ttu0Wnf.png
It only disable fly per player, it doesn't give any protection against hacks or mods.
@piritacraft
When player click twice on the space bar to attempt fly, the plugin deactivates fly mode to that player (only if the player is in a world specified in the config file and he doesn't have permission to fly).
It's not an anticheat :)
this plugin work like a anti cheat or just disable the /fly ?
