FallingBlocks
Make falling blocks and animated explosions!
Features
- Add gravity to any block you want
- Configurable block-list with in-game commands.
- If the block is a container, it will drops the contents when it falls.
- Animated explosions.
- Useful commands with simple permissions and a tab completer.
- Works in Minecraft 1.10.x versions.
Commands and Permissions
Commands are very easy to use: the permission automatically get the command's name, so if the command is /fallingblocks help, the permission will be fallingblocks.help . You can switch commands in chat by pressing tab.
- /fallingblocks help - Shows help page.
- /fallingblocks reload -Reload the plugin.
- /fallingblocks toggle - Enable or disable plugin's events.
- /fallingblocks list - Shows list of enabled types of falling blocks.
- /fallingblocks add <type> - Add a falling block type.
- /fallingblocks remove <type> - Remove a falling block type.
Configuration
If you don't find a material name, check this list. At the moment there is only one option in the config file:
- animatedexplosions - If true, the blocks will be knocked out in an explosion

Thanks! :)
nice!

Unfortunately I'm not able to make a video, I'll be glad if someone can do this. Do you know that in Minecraft there are only a few blocks that have gravity (sand, gravel, anvil)? With this plugin you can add gravity to any solid block you want. The same effect is applied to explosions: when a primed tnt or an exploding creeper break blocks, these will be launched in all directions to make it seems a bit real. I hope you understood ^^
What exactly does this do? Are there any pictures or videos demonstrations?
I' m sorry for the mistake I made in v2.1, commands don't work due to a mistake on copying classes of commandapi in the new IDE. I resolved this bug in the v2.2
Hey! I'm back with a new version of FallingBlocks! Check it! :D
FallingBlocks 1.6 is here! What do you want in the next version? :D
Good morning,
I have a problem with the newest version of the plugin.
Everytime I restart the server it replaces the custom config with the standard one. For the moment I fixed the problem. I copied my config into the plugin, so it replaces the custom one with the custom one but that's a dirty fix.
Good news for everyone!
Update will be released tomorrow with a lot of changes! :)
@HypeMasterAnims The IDs are numerics, all versions support 1.8, I suggest the latest version because it has animated explosion if you want! :)
Block name IDs will be added in the next version. Thanks!
Hi, I think this plugin is cool, and I would like to eventually put it on one of my servers, but I'm a bit confused. I'm going to host my server in 1.8, so do I put the block ID or the minecraft:furnace. Also, which versions support 1.8?
Oh, ok. No problem :)
@TheCreepah98
Sounds good.
I wouldn't add grass, dirt, podzol and that things not on the blacklist. Stone, bedrock and all ores by the way are ok, but the others...
I have them all on my list and it makes a lot of fun to dig and mine with this blocks enabled. I set my config orientated like the real world.
Here's my actual setting:
If anyone want to use it, fell free to copy it! ;)
It would be great you add a command to toggle physics on and off and a permission for that.
Could be helpful for some reason.
Regards
@X00LA I' m already working for a better configuration with those IDs with various data.
The next version will automatically update the config due to the new configuration, because it provides a new ID system based on 1.7-1.8 item' s names (example minecraft:furnace) and it will delete your old config for this.
Ah, there will be an integrated blacklist for blocks that cannot fall such as bedrock, grass and dirt, stone and some little things.
Thanks! :)
Works nice on my 1.8.7 test server. Only thing I suggest is, that you should show in your description, that several block ids needs to be a bit different.
Normal block id looks this: - 2 -58 and so on like your description. Sub-ids should look this: - '3:1' - '3:2' and so on.
I suggest this because some of my friends had problems setting up the plugin with the ids. Thes don't know that it needs a different format.
Apart from that, great plugin. Makes mining, digging and exploring more funny and dangerous. Perfect for a realistic suvival server.
FallingBlocks v1.2 is out!
Try the new animated explosions! (You can disable this feature from config file)
It' s all! :)
Tell me what do you want to see in the plugin!
@SzybkaStrefa
I' ve released FallingBlocks 1.1 It' s compatible with both 1.7 and 1.8 versions.
Thanks for the request! :)
Plz add 1.7.9
