FakeLogin
Plugin Nolonger Discontinued
The plugin will be updated to every new version and I do accept suggestions!
THANKS FOR 8K DOWNLOADS! :D
FakeLogin is a lightweight Plugin which allows you to send fake leave/join messages, to trick people into thinking that you logged in or out.
This plugin works best with a Vanish plugin. Like the /vanish command in Essentials.
Ever tried where you vanished and people noticed that it didn't say you logged off? That can now be fixed!
How To Use
Type /fakeleave or /fakejoin and the server will send a fake leave or join message, after that you can vanish and people will think you're gone.
I will hopefully upload a video showing it soon.
How To Install
Drag and drop the .jar file into your plugins folder.
Features
/fakeleave - Send fake leave message - Permission node: fakelogin.fakeleave
/fakejoin - Send fake join message - Permission node: fakelogin.fakejoin
/fakejoin <PlayerName>- Send fake join message of the name - Permission node: fakelogin.fakejoin.other
/fakeleave <PlayerName>- Send fake join message of the name - Permission node: fakelogin.fakeleave.other
Customizable fakeleave/fakejoin messages! So if you use a custom leave/join messages plugin, you can still use this!
Known Bugs
None so far!
If you find any bugs feel free to tell me.
This plugin uses MCStats/Plugin Metrics!
If you're wondering, what is this? Very simple! This plugin gathers the following information > how many servers are using the plugin and how many players are on those servers in total, nothing else! Gathered information gets sent to mcstats.org where I can keep track of how many servers are using my plugins.
Metrics does not download any files to install itself. It is bundled directly with the plugin and reads from the same config file as every other metrics-enabled plugin. If you do not want information to be gathered, you can disable this in the opt-out section inside plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml
All information about this can be found here : https://bukkit.org/threads/mcstats-plugin-metrics-r7-easy-advanced-plugin-statistics.77352/
Add a reload command please ;D

I just uploaded a new updated version of the plugin where you can change it in the config. May take a few hours for the Bukkit staff to accept the new version of the plugin. :) So you can now change the fakejoin/fakeleave message! The plugin already had this feature, but a bug stopped the config from being created, sorry about that! :)
@pramsing
Can the message (formatting) be changed? That would make it look more real when using it on servers that don't use the standard (vanilla) join/leave messages.
@Piplupuppy
No, you can display fake leave and join messages on the server.
So can you join as different players with this plugin?
@HareyMcGeedy Bukkit Version? What do you exactly type? This plugin is not updated to 1.5.2 yet. Sorry late answer.
I cannot /fakeleave [player], I get an error outputted to the console.
@Syhlo Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into that and hopefully have that in the next version.
Thanks, this is just what I was looking for.
If possible, could you also have it hide when you actually login as well?
VanishNoPacket has this feature and handles the vanish as well.
@Pocketkid2
if this plugin has more feature then your the yours is probably a useless .jar file, cause this plugin has barely features in it 0__0
@Pocketkid2
I never tried to copy anyone. I tried to find a plugin with fake leave/join messages for my server, I found one but there was no permissions for it.. (I probably didn't search good enough) But I decided to just create my own plugin for my server since I couldn't find any. After a day or two i decided to upload it to Bukkit to maybe help other with same problem.
This is the exact same thing as my plugin, except mine has more features...
@shayminfreak
Hello, thanks for your comment. This is my first plugin so it's kinda new for me. :P I'll try look at it and fix it for next version. EDIT: I uplaoded a new file, 2.1.2 i fixed it there.
Just need to mention one thing - when this plugin starts up, the console output goes:
But it still functions normally in-game, so clearly the disable message is a typo. Other than that, the plugin works great, thanks a ton for creating it!
