F.A.G.L.S.

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This plugin allows to create F.A.G.L.S. (Fuckin Awesome Glowstone Light Systems) wich turn on and off when the time changes to night.

Note: This plugin is currently just an alpha version! Use it carefully!

How to use

Just place an iron/diamond block as control block where you want, watch it and type in "/fagls". Now you're on edit mode.

In edit mode you can hit blocks to mark them as F.A.G.L.S. light block. Note: Any block excepting glowstone and torches works as light source in edit block. These two block types are not supported because they are used as replacement for all blocks (Redstone torches will result in torches and all other blocks will result in glowstone).

After you have finished with selecting your light sources type in "/fagls" again and have fun with your automated light source!

Note: If you're using iron blocks as control blocks the light sources will be affected by day-night-cycle. If you're using diamond blocks the light sources will only react on redstone changes.

What about redstone?

That's a good question my friend! You can disable the automatic changing with redstone! If the control block is powered the changing will stop and your light sources will be replaced with the original material.

If you're using diamond blocks as control blocks the plugin will just toggle the light sources (They will be not affacted by day-night-cycle).

Are there any options?

Sorry, but currently I haven't any options for this plugin. But the following options are currently planned for the next (or final) version:

  • Light-Start-Time (Currently hardcoded to 13000)

Commands & Permissions

/fagls - fagls.edit

Requirements

This plugin uses WorldEdit.

Known Bugs & Problems

  • The permissions are currently untested / they will not work. [unverified]
  • You have to put redstone ON the diamond block. Else they will not react (This seems to be a problem with the redstone itself. It seems that diamond blocks will not react if you place redstone right at the edge of the block).
