I know it sucks to have to pay to use something you used to have, but I simply couldn't continue pouring the time into this project to keep it updated without getting a little something back. EpicGlass adds a new function to both glass blocks (or any other block type in the config!); the ability to be broken! With EpicGlass, you can charge up your bow and send an arrow smashing through windows or take someone by surprise by crashing through their skylight. But don't worry, all that broken glass will slowly regenerate, so you can shatter it over and over again.
This plugin collects basic usage information for mcstats.org. You may opt out in the generated pluginMetrics config file.
Features
- Players and Mobs can fall through glass
- Players can sprint and jump through glass
- Arrows can be shot through glass
- All glass blocks that were touching will be broken
- Glass broken by EpicGlass regenerates over time
- Config for disabling any unwanted features and adding a block cap to the number that can be broken at once
- All of these things for any other block type

Usage
In order to use EpicGlass, simply sprint and jump, fall onto, or shoot an arrow at a glass block.

I wasn't able to reproduce any issues with the file overwriting itself, but there was an error reading the ids in, which is fixed for the next version, which I will release tomorrow. Hopefully this fixes your issues.

i tried that couple times, but every time i put example wooden sword ID there, and reload server, config file resets..

If you want to make it so that wooden tools work, but dont inherit the stronger tools, you'll need to just use the tools id numbers. Also, the dispensers and bows can be set to true while everything else should be set to false
i have been trying to make it so that only wooden tools and dispenser/bow could break glass but cant get those wooden tools to work, either they dont work at all or then all weapons breaks it.. any help?

Ummm. I've no idea when it will be done.
The thing is, I can basically take two routes. I can get it very minimally working for a a larger number of plugins, or I can get it working very well, but only for one or two.
Neither of which I really like, so likely its gonna be in the works for a bit longer. I'm having a hard time getting some of the APIs to work just because things that some plugins allow and some dont. Like with WorldGuard, I can easily check build permissions for a player at any location, but with Regios, I can only check build permissions for a player where they actually are standing. Im just trying to figure out how I'm going to work out those inconsistencies, since the plugin dev doesn't know what plugin they're working with, and the point is standardization.

Ok, I just thought it would somehow improve Shield. When will Shield be released? /jhs232

I'm not sure what the point of that would be. Vault handles economies, chat, and permissions, while this handles Area protection. If someone were using a protection plugin that hooked in Vault to use its permissions, Shield would take that into account simply because of the way that I'm checking permissions through said plugin.

You can turn it off in the config. That should be good enough I would think...
You could also set it to a more specific tool or item, or you could increase the number of hits before it breaks, allowing them to be broken normally as well.
Anywasy you can remove the break feature because now people cant remove blocks thaty dont want any more.

Just tested it and its working fine for both torches and redstone torches.
Make sure your using the most recent version and that signs are set to false in your config.
