Add worldGuard support so that ppl won't destroy glass in select regions. Pick a permission node (or make a new one if possible within worldguard) that can be given to ppl so that glass can't be destroyed in select areas (such as spawn area with glass roof)
I've been trying, since I released this plugin, to come up with a way to have area protection that wouldn't have to be worldGuard specific, but would work regardless of what world protection plugin you use. I've not come up with any great ideas, however, but this is mainly because I don't really use any of these plugins.
I'd like to put more thought into, and hopefully get some input from all of you, on an over-arching way to do area protection. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, though, if you're going to post, be specific. I shouldn't have to squeeze information out of you, lol.
If we can't come up with anything that we're happy with, then I'll make a poll to decide the order that support for the different area protection plugins get added in.
Maybe add a super-wand? Smack glass, it counts them all the way it breaks, and then adds it to a protectedblocks.yml?
So you protect windows, instead of areas.
Maybe... The thing tho, is that it would be cool if it only applied to certain players, and hooked into something that already existed, rather than making admins run around all of their worlds marking windows that cant be broken.
I think what im gonna do is write another plugin, like vault, but that would make an API for devs to use in regard to area protection. It wouldn't take very long at all to get the basic few working at the minimal level that i would need it here. So, essentially, I could use that API to check if a player has build permission in the region that they're in, and if they dont, cancel the break
