Enders Game
Description
Enders Game is a team mini-game where players fly around in zero-gravity and can push off of objects by double clicking space bar to launch themselves. They can shoot with their "flash gun" and killing a player takes them out of the game. Once a player has pushed off, they cannot change course, However, they can shoot during this time and can also be shot. A team wins when one of its members reaches the other team's "gate".

About Permissions
All permissions are given, by default, to Ops. But only the joinsign permission defaults to everyone. The * permission gives permission to all Enders Game commands. The admin permission allows the player to give other players permissions using the /eg perm (player) (permission) (give/take) command. The force permission allows the player to forcefully start the game. The joinall permission gives access to any way of joining a game. The joincommand permission allows the player to use the /eg command to join a game! The joinsign permission allow the player to use join signs to enter a game.
How To Set Up An Arena
- The first step is to build an arena from which the players could not escape, preferably a hallow sphere made by Worldedit
- Next, you set the spawnpoints (red, blue, and hub) using the /eg setspawn (red|blue|hub)
- Thirdly, you create the teams "gates" using ice (for blue teams gate) and netherrack (for red teams gate). It would be wise to put these in a hard to reach area, because otherwise the game will be done in a couple seconds.
- Finnally, you enjoy!

JDOG's the best " Tester" of all
i know, its an awesome storyline but all the small details and acting sucked
omg i saw 3 times this movie
also please post the error thats in the config
and what command
what version of minecraft are you running
hey well for some reason it keeps saying "An Internal Error Occured while attempting to perform this command" Does that have to do with the arena or something wrong with the files or config?
I am sorry but i am trying not to stray too far from the actual book.
Are you sure that was the whole error? Because, I saw that the thread number the exception was on was constantly going down. If you didn't do them all and it got all the way to 1 then the error is fatal to the problem and may take a while to solve. If not, it is probably an extremely quick fix, if you don't want to wait, and this is my personal suggestion, download and use Enders Game v.0.0.8 instead. It is also compatible with any 1.8.X versions and probably any version of Minecraft that supports all features of my plugin.
first of all this is a 1.8 plugin, and secondly it was a warning, did the plugin function properly?
Huge 1.8.7 error. I have no idea what this is about, but hopefully you can fix it because this plugin has so much potential! http://pastebin.com/PKgaEw3T
@ferrago
Yes, i will try that, also do you think it is a good idea to make it so a team cant win until all opposing players are dead
@retrodaredevil
you automattically leave when the game is over.
Can you make leave signs?

While an auto updater is kinda hard to do (at least for me, since i still can't do it) I do have the code for an update checker, so that you can at least notify users of the plugin when a new update is available, however my version just looks for a file with a different version than the one installed. It doesn't compare it to make sure its a new version (IE if you are running v1.0 and v0.5 if the last file uploaded, itll tell you a new version is available).
Here's the update checker class http://pastebin.com/LSQa0R9m
and here's what you would put in the Main class (or whatever extends the JavaPlugin) http://pastebin.com/sJazyNrS
If you need further help with this just pm me.
Maybe add another level of complexity like a different mode, where dead players remain in game but can't move or damage others, that way they can be used as shields and as camouflage. if you remember from the movie they ended up doing just that.
it will have to be a seperate plugin though.
I have no clue how to do internet pings so the auto update checker might have to wait a while. Thanks for your suggestions!
Yes, i will try
Hey,
your Plugin looks promising, any plans to add bungeecord support? Would be awesome!
