Description
There are a lot of plugins that let you toggle/do something by simply hitting a Sign or typing a command. But that's a little unrealistic. If you can't hit a Piston with your hand to make it work, why should any other mechanism be any different? ElectriCraft lets you move mechanisms, build new block structures, control lighting, create electrical devices, and more ALL with the power of Redstone!

Installation
- Place the ElectriCraft.jar into your /plugins folder
- Run and close the server to start ElectriCraft
- ElectriCraft's config.yml and .ecf block files will be auto-generated

Bugs/Issues
- Let me know what you find, please! Submit a Ticket if you have any issues.
- Furnaces currently don't maintain their direction when switching between on/off states. It looks best as floor/ceiling lights for now.
- Plugins that modify the drops of blocks MIGHT conflict with protected blocks and drop them anyway.

Hi, I am planning to try and maintain this plugin for version 1.3 and will release an update here when it comes out...I will be waiting for at least a beta build of bukkit to be released though!
Once 1.4 comes out with the modding API I will then look at completely porting this across! My users love this too and I cannot afford to let it go!

It's on the last post I put, and I linked to leezallen's post... scroll down :) that current download Does work for me, however with the new 1.3 coming out August 1st... I dread to think that we'll be losing a vast amount of plugins! :(
There are a few things I have disabled :) Pumpkins/Jack-o-lanterns since they don't save their direction when powered/unpowered. Furnaces... Honestly couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong... tried putting coal in one that got hit by a redstone? hehehee so much for a hybrid furnace :> other than that... I use everything in the plugin. My Players Love it! I Love it! I'm going to be incredibly sad if we can't keep it for 1.3 :/
Keep up the great work guys! You have my support with my players (about 22 of us haha)

It won't work for me I've put it in my plugin folder but when I try to make a gate it wont work

Just Re-affirming my players LOVE of this Plugin! Everything seems to be working fine! Not using Furnaces or Pumpkins due to the re-orienting of them when powered (and furnace did 'something' but i didn't catch the error, killed the server and just disabled them and all is working well. :)

Glad the reinstalling Java worked for you! I would guess that the Pocket Alchemy Lab is a problem with Electricrafts powered lamps... I am not sure if we even need these anymore since the advent of actual Redstone Lamps... i willl have a look at the video though!

Well I'm an idiot :) I un-installed and re-installed my Java... Haven't had any errors since... I believe it was one of the past plugins that caused a corruption that only started 'after' removing said plugin. Have only had one issue since then, when trying to build CNBMinecraft's "Pocket Alchemy Lab" from Youtube :) The Glowstone used, freaked out, and flipped on and off continuously so fast I couldn't keep up, and then it spit out a continuous error on the console, I had to Kill the server, to stop it. so Lost the Error (but I am a noob so it may be in some logs somewhere) Maybe you can replicate it but I wish to avoid any more ill luck for the moment. :) Server has been doing alright for a few days again, want to just let it calm down for my players at the moment. :D
Edit: I'm also going to try using Time Sensors again! Crossing my fingers! I am sorry to ramble on like a moron, I just hope I can somehow help you guys keep the plugin up and running! My players are loving it as much as I am! :)

I have a number of tested plugins :/ Have spent a good while testing them individually lol, but here they are:
Did have "NoLagg" and before that 'PTweaks' *performance tweaks* Had conflicts with both, as well as higher usage... so just removed them along with their associated files.. Admittedly I'm at a loss, when I get home from work (usually 13-14 hours at night) im exhausted, and can't usually think clearly, so didn't wish to hassle with burdened plugins. I suspect it was one of my 'half asleep' moments that could have something to do with it also. but there again, didn't have any issues until I started using EC (and I don't want to give it up even with this random server crashing) lol! To many cool things that work with it. ... We were also using roughly 15-17 time sensors at the time this started (half of them were set for 13000 23000) as it was the appropriate medium from night and day I also am uninstalling and re-installing Java... if I knew more about the programming aspect, I would attempt to delve into the files myself... but I would just screw it up past repair.. :) lol

Can I quickly ask what other plugins you are using and how many time sensors you have set up? I admit that I have only tested it with a couple as there were not working at all before!

Hello, I actually downloaded the one that you had posted with the 'time sensor fix' , just got the latest updated build of 1.2.5. R3.0 for craftbukkit... as well... I think I may have to wipe out most of my server, and load a backup of my worlds and see if I can just scrap everything... but see if I can save all that my players have built :/ I'm so frustrated with the constant crashing now... I work Nights, and it goes down roughly every hour now, unless I'm on trying to 'catch' the problem... then it seems to run fine... I'll try this plugin again, but first i think I shall start from scratch... Thank you for Looking into this though, I'm just a desperate noob grasping at straws. :) Something will work out soon enough lol.

Hi, what version are you currently using? I posted one a while back that solved the time sensor issues (or so I thought!). Also, is there a bit more to that error message because, for the life of me, I cannot see what is causing this one!!!

There is also a problem with fences being able to conduct currents horizontally which is what causes the problem I think, I was just looking at that to see if it solves the issue! Will post good news soon!!! Or do you think we should change material used for gates?
Okay I found the error again... I haven't had this until I started using the Time Sensors, so naturally I assumed that is what caused it... Please forgive my noobishness

I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. :) also I thank you for the vids! And the work you've put into this already :) I wouldn't mind the 'netherfence' simply because it would require a little more effort on my players part to get the 'advanced lighting' however I don't want to be a pain to you. :) I seem to also now get an error just today... (using time sensors) i have several in sync... but I need to have it come back up and see if I can pinpoint it... When I am able, I'll copy the console of it (it's not a lot of text, but it does kick the players and keep them off until I restart) I want to help keep this plugin alive and running if I can :) 'really' love it LOL Thank you again for getting back to me so quickly! I hate being a forum noob :o :)

I dunno if I would be able to help you (as I certainly am not the "genius" behind this plugin), but I did already find a solution to the fencepost-building-problem. This would however require me to change the blocktype of lightposts to netherfence (and thus no more normal fence)...
As for your comment about "loving" the plugin, I love it too! That's why I made the vids etc. :D
