ElectriCraft
ElectriCraft
ElectriCraft
Description
There are a lot of plugins that let you toggle/do something by simply hitting a Sign or typing a command. But that's a little unrealistic. If you can't hit a Piston with your hand to make it work, why should any other mechanism be any different? ElectriCraft lets you move mechanisms, build new block structures, control lighting, create electrical devices, and more ALL with the power of Redstone!

To-Do
- Have a suggestion? Make a Ticket!
- Painting toggle/scroll? (Being kind of difficult...)
- TelePads?
Bugs/Issues
- Let me know what you find, please! Submit a Ticket if you have any issues.
- Furnaces currently don't maintain their direction when switching between on/off states. It looks best as floor/ceiling lights for now.
- Plugins that modify the drops of blocks MIGHT conflict with protected blocks and drop them anyway.
@flemkin: I might be able to make that possible. I'll experiment with a few designs and see what I can do! Give me some time! :D
This is exactly what I've been looking for...mainly for the lighting control alone. I do have a question though, but forgive me if this has already been asked for, or isn't possible. By default, switches/lever are "active" meaning they generate their own current. Is there any possibility of having 2 different switches, or modify the state of a switch? Active and passive? e.g. I want current to feed into a switch, and allow me to turn on lights further down the line, but if the feed is broken, then the lights go off regardless the state of the switch (pretty much like a real life switch). Of course we'd need to still have the possibility of placing active switches, but being able to have both types would be nice.
Thanks
@rusty3995: You're right, I completely overlooked that! :/ Thanks for the heads up. I was treating them like regular blocks that have not direction. It'll be fixed in the next version.
Having a problem with stairs If you build them west to east when, you activate it the generated stairs face north and stay there when you deactivate it Haven't tried it in other directions yet
@sharkale31: I'm gonna look into it! Sorry about that! D:
this plugin crash my server :(
one of my user had a circuit for a door in a house of nether rock. and when you press the plessure plate the server crash without error. only "read time out" and any command response. i need hard close. i found the netherrock house after 15 crashes. i remove the plugin and all works now. sad :( look good.
This is so sick! I'm totally utilizing this!
nicee :P
The "Pages" tab is right at the top of the webpage under where it says "BukkitDev". Each feature has a page telling you how to build/use it.

This is a very good idea. Nice Bwa
@beepthemeep Thanks for the compliment, I definitely appreciate it!
I'm going to try to get any sign-based mechanisms working with permissions - as well as any other requests - as soon as I can. I'm looking forward to adding as much as I can, but I'm currently tied down by college work (video game design, who knew?! :P).
Anyone know of any guides? Can't seem to get most of this stuff working. Thanks.
yeah, permissions please.
im going to craftbook til this has permissions.
i made an account on bukkit just to say that
One of the best plugins right up there with world edit and world guard very very nice job :D
