EasyElevator

Thank you pie_flavor for updating to 1.9
This plugin was inspired by the plugin "bLift". But this has to be a little bigger. Well and that's what I've done. I have made a more Elevator like experience. There are no commands necessary, so this is very easy to use. I hope you will enjoy this plugin as much as i do.

Important
This is my first release of this plugin. There is a big possibility, that there are still a few bugs. So I'm asking you to please report every bug you experience to me, so i can fix this.
@jonathanlundstrom92
Philip said he will keep those Features in mind : )
@eagle132
The Elevators can be any shape, and they can be put next to each other as long there is a block in between both elevators, but you will have to use the signs then because of the command range
@Yndi74
They die to lagg most likely
If the elevator is too tall, onto what gets down the player dies.
I have one elevator 7 floor (100-120 blocks) in hotel, if player go from 7. floor to 1. floor she die.
Does the elevator have to be square? Or can I make any shape with the gold and iron blocks to make an elevator function? Also, can there be elevators right next to each other? I feel like that might mess it up because of the ranged commands.
Thanks! Great plugin!
Thanks for this plugin, it's works like a charm most of the time. Although, there are some issues that I would like to make you aware of:
Also, here are some suggestions on improvements:
Thanks, and I hope some of these problems and suggestions are fixable / doable.
I copied and pasted the stuff EXACTLY how it was, and it didnt do anything

I think Bukkit has a built-in permissions system but I don't think I've ever seen anyone use it. I personally use PermissionsBukkit, and some prefer PermissionsEx.

Permissions are just a way to grant players on your server permission to use certain default features and any features implemented by installing a plugin. I have linked you to PermissionsBukkit above. They do a pretty good job of explaining how to set it up, but if you have any questions you can shoot me a PM. For this particular plugin in order to enable usage to your players, add the easyelevator.call.* and easyelevator.stop.* permissions to the config file that is created the first time PermissionsBukkit is loaded in the server. In the config file, it will look something like this (not including the default stuff already in the config file when it loads):

I recommend installing Notepad++ for editing any bukkit config files.
http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.3.html
(once installed, simply right click the config file and click "Edit with Notepad++")
@trevader2413553142
the permissions are doing nothing with my friends
@trevader2413553142
P.S, im a noob at my server
how do I do that? i dont see any permissions
@trevader2413553142
Have you set up permissions correctly?
Non-ops can't use it and i dont see anything in the config file about it
Hopefully we'll soon be able to change the blocks that can be used. My players are looking forward to using this, but very few can afford to in it's current state.
Thanks
Thanks for the plugin, it's nice and quite useful. I like the way this feels more like a real elevator, and it's not really fast or glitchy compared to others I've used in the past.
However, I am having some trouble with making any larger than 2x2. I recently attempted making a 4x4 elevator and it refused to work no matter how many times I tried, even with everything correctly placed and the max perimeter with a large enough number. I don't know if it needs to be built differently, but perhaps another short video or some tips to help would be very nice.
Also, I've been having problems with the permissions. It would be convenient if there was a way to allow all users to use or create elevators from in-game, maybe using a command. I'm not sure how easy it is to create something like that, but it would be super handy.
Thanks, and bravo again on the plugin.
Our server is digging this so far, we're still early in implementing. However I'm noticing some bugs and possible improvement points.
-When building an elevator without walls the floor change sign will be placed and broken as the elevator travels resulting in endless broken sign entities. -It would be great if there was a way to have chests or entitites travel on the elevator, turning it into a sort of vertical minecart system. -Doesn't seem to need a solid cap of gold at the base and top, rings seem to work fine. -Once an elevator has been activated trying to modify it seems problematic. Adding floors or shifting them either results in the elevator being rendered useless, or the additions simply not registering. -Being able to change the elevator ding sound would be neat. :3 -Elevator seems to get randomly stuck on the floor change signs.

First, thanks for this plugin. Really simplified my current build.
Unfortunately, the elevator stopped working very suddenly after several weeks of use. I received an error about not being able to find a sign at x,y,z and the elevator stopped responded. I've tried reinstalling the .jar, deleting the gold, signs, etc short of the shaft itself and have not been able to reinitialize the elevator. Any help would be appreciated!
Nevermind, I got it to work!:D, other then some glitches, the plugin is awesome!
HELP! I got it to work after a while, but now when I go to a different floor or call the elevator, the iron doors stay open! I tried replacing all of the doors, but they still stay open when I go to a floor. Please help!
