A workaround is being worked on.

- Kick, ban, IP-ban or range-ban players
- Temporarily ban or IP-ban players
- Automatically punish players that are blacklisted by DNSBL services
- Warn players and execute commands after a certain amount of warnings
- Get notified when two players with the same IP adress join or compare IPs manually per command
- Lock IPs to a single name
- Recieve a list of all players and their IPs from the console
- Make players immune to all commands or whitelist them to protect them from bans
- Check a player's status including warnings, kicks, bans, temporary bans and more
- Send players information about their own warnings whenever they login
- Purge a player's data with a simple command
- Fully costumizable messages for everything including broadcasts
- Only explicit autocomplete for safer administration
- Update notifications

Information on further development
Hey guys, DJ Addi here. With version 1.3.0 the plugin reached a point where I'd say it is more or less finished. If there are bugs or important features that require an update I will release a new version as fast as possible (without waiting for stuff to pile up). However, it is unlikely that new big features will be added (unless I really like them so keep the suggestions coming).
Stay tuned for updates on the release of DynamicBan 2.0.
Currently working on:
- Cleaning up database code, adding missing comments to other classes
- Moving ban-types to separate tables to allow future scalability (We cannot easily append missing fields, but we can add on missing tables if a new feature is added).
Nice plugin, what about MySQL integration?
New update includes quite a number of bug fixes (includes the IPBan fix), one new feature, and one change, stay tuned!
Fixing Normal IPBan! Huge bug, will be fixed in 1.2.2!
@mrchasez
I got some ideas from that plugin, it was basically my inspiration and guideline, but with more features
How is this a continuation of IceBanIP when they are totally different?
Broadcast seems broken atm, sorry!
@Pandamatak
Already has that feature, check your config!
It was all great until I discovered even non-ops get the "This server is using DynamicBan" message. A way to disable that would be great.
Can you PM me when you have that feature so I can start using this again?
FIXED A CASE BUG IN DYNUNBAN! Please download 1.2.1! (Click latest version in my custom tabs)
@Enrux
Ill be adding that probably in 1.2.2/1.2.3 :P, thanks for the suggestion! I think I get how to implement it, not 100% sure though with IP bans. I'll try my best.
this plugin is awesome! I think it just needs a temporary ip ban
Fixed the filesize, its now 18kbs! It was an export mistake*facepalm* Reuploading!
@mrchasez
It's kinda messy at the moment, but I like the commands being in different classes, thanks for the comment man, I'll be cleaning up the code sooner or later! :D
@ZwPBerserk
The one i downloaded is only 10KB
@xDrapor
Wow, Looking at the plugin you really over complicated things. Firstly why did you make different class files for each command, then have to import them into main? You know you could just do this
@xDrapor
That's way too big to be a plugin. I'm going to check this out
@ZwPBerserk
Aha, thats how you know I added stuff :P
File size of the new 1.2 beta.. 4.8 MB ? wtf? :P
@mrchasez
:D I loved that plugin, I used to use it until it broke, well, I can try to update it for you if I get the time, but theres no source given...
@xDrapor
You can update SimpleBan, The second of the old best's, and mine ^-^
@GrillGuth
Yep, I know EasyBan, thing is, importing from that might be a challenge, as my plugin works with the bukkit banning system, whereas I believe that EasyBan uses its own listeners or something to keep a player banned. Also, my YML database format is way different, yet, theres no harm in trying, I have a huge literacy test tomorrow, so probably wont be released with 1.2, but I can try my best in the near future. I already finished most of the unbanning system and the reasons, coloured ban messages, etc. If I'm free, I'll attempt to update EasyBan for you, no promises though :)
