DwarfForge
Wiki | Permissions & Commands | Usage | GitHub Source
The Dwarfs learned long ago how to manipulate lava to their will. By building their furnaces directly above lava, they can smelt metals and bake goods for a long time without hauling buckets about. Now, you can too. Build your furnace directly above a lava block, then punch the furnace to ignite it. Punch it again to douse the flames. No fuel/buckets needed!
There is a minimal configuration file; the plugin will automatically generate a default config.yml file if none is present. Just drop the JAR into your plugins folder and reload.

Features |
---|
- Runs forever! No fuel/buckets needed.
- However, Forges can be required to operate with fuel, which is pulled from the input chest along with raw materials.
- Punching the furnace toggles it on/off.
- Dwarf Forges stack vertically. Lava only necessary under the lowest forge. (Lava is powerful, man!) Stacked forges can all access the same set of input/output chests.
- Input and output chests (left and right of forge, respectively, when facing it) supported. Double-size chests also supported. Additionally, you can "stack" horizontally to access nearby chests.
- Stacking limits are configurable (defaults: 3 high, 4 wide).
- Can change the cooking time: warp speed!
- Blocks in a short, 3-block radius from any Dwarf Forge are protected against fire from lava.
- Supports Permissions.
- Supports Metrics

breaks this plugin... I'm working on a fix
@Acidglow
no idea... do you have a link?
@Minendrache
could you open a issue for this, incl full log via pastie.org?
Hi I get an error right now ... maybe another plugin will not work together with the dwarf ...
2012-02-27 23:39:53 [WARNING] Task of 'DwarfForge' generated an exception java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: net.minecraft.server.FurnaceRecipes.a(I)Lnet/minecraft/server/ItemStack; at org.simiancage.bukkit.DwarfForge.Utils.resultOfCooking(Utils.java:76) at org.simiancage.bukkit.DwarfForge.Utils.canCook(Utils.java:83) at org.simiancage.bukkit.DwarfForge.Forge.updateRawMaterial(Forge.java:215) at org.simiancage.bukkit.DwarfForge.Forge.update(Forge.java:337) at org.simiancage.bukkit.DwarfForge.Forge.run(Forge.java:368) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.scheduler.CraftScheduler.mainThreadHeartbeat(CraftScheduler.java:137) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.w(MinecraftServer.java:503) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:435) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465)
@DonRedhorse
ah forget that... I was thinking about a different issue..
@sithrebel
yeah... mainly because if you require fuel it could happen that you run out of fuel but still have stacks left... and another forge still has fuel..
@DeliciousJaffa
IT was on purpose if i remember what Mat told me. It was a while ago.
@UnSHaken
do you require fuel? or not?
@DeliciousJaffa
honestly don't know... I took over the plugin and really didn't have the time to dig too much into the code yet... atm just see it as green energy..
When I insert new items after it have processed items before it will not process them, I have to turn the furnaces off and back on for it to process, is this a bug or is this meant to be the case?
it seems that my nerdy player base have worked out if you put lava under the furnace and put 1 piece of coal into the furnace it turns the furnace on and it stays on for good... and thye cna just keep placing stuff in... just thought i would tell you... seeing as i guess its a glitch
@Galexrt
thanks
TO ALL!!!!
If you have issues please report them... I have the plugin running totally fine on R3.. and I can't reproduce any errors atm... :-(
Keep this good plugin up! It's awesome!
@stargateanubis14
sigh... no I forgot to update the version on github... thanks for letting me know
hehe...
Have i been trolled? :D
@KBKWilliamsson
will try to reproduce it.. thanks
@DonRedhorse
Hmm, couldn't reproduce it again, but I found the exceptions from when I used it last:
:)
@KBKWilliamsson
hmm could you post a log?
Great plugin, I'm hoping you'll update it to latest RB! :)
It casts exceptions each time a forge is used, it works however, but it looks bad in the console :P
@UnSHaken
well could you enable debug logging also in pex via pex toggle debug IIRC.. and post the stuff via pastie.org or similar?
@DonRedhorse
Nah... i have it so only me VIP members are able to use create or delete but anyone on the server can use create and delete them v.v RAGE! im using permissionsEX
