Dragons Lair
Hey people out there!
Some would people would say "Yet again another RPG plugin?" and apparently I can't deny that but hold on, this one is different. This plugin allows you to do things that you might've ever thought of but weren't able to do. It gives life to a dead city, creating new friendships with a new way of cooperation and generally giving Minecraft that what's missing: a goal. On top of that, everything is fully customizable, so you're able to make your wishes come true in the way you want them to be. No barriers, no borders, nothing that prevents you from doing the things you've ever wanted. Everything is about to come true. Dragons Lair.
What does it provide?
- NPCs you can talk to like they're actually real!
- Dungeon system. - Group together with your friends - Save your progress and recover it on the next player - Everyone can play the same dungeon over and over like it would be their first time
- React on player actions with anything you'd imagine
- Database? Here we go!
- Easy configuration
This is just the general information, there's a lot more to discover ;)
Commands?
There are only two commands available:
/dl config:
- Opens the config for dragons lair. You just type in what you want, no additional command needed.
/dl reload:
- Only needed if you did something in the database to sync it with dragons lair.
And those are all the commands!
Permissions?
There is only one permission, which is used for the config and reload:
dragonslair.config
It gives access to the above commands.

You shouldn't have made those promises then, it is not dev's duty to carry out your empty promises.
@hollisd44
should be approved in some hours, at least I hope so.
When will Dragon's Lair be compatible with 1.4.4? I've made promises on my server that aren't getting carried through...
I finally got it working after having to result in sqlite... I really wanted to use my SQL database with 000webhost, but this plugin just doesn't like it...
Okay, I have tried everything and this plugin fails to load properly every time. Whenever I do /plugins, it shows up red! How do I fix this!?
How do you create the database?
Finally a plugin that fits my needs for instance dungeons! Lol, I have been searching everywhere for a plugin like this and now that I have found it I can't wait to test it.
My server should have some test dungeons up on it by 11/15/12 or even earlier depending on school.

Dragons lair needs a database. It's mysql at default, but you can change it to sqlite (which is a flatfile database) if you want. (see: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/dragonslair/pages/using-sqlite-instead-of-mys-ql/)
is it needed to add mysql? cuz i didn't add it and the plugin just disables it self , in the console it says Plugin didn't find mysql and than Dragon Lair Disabling
I have good and bad news for you!
The good one is that in the next update I will add support for any type of mobs as npcs! The bad one is that it'll take a bit more time.
E.g. you could then talk with a lonely creeper without getting blown up!
Until then, have fun!

@kumpelblase2
That stinks to hear! But we all appreciate your diligent work. :) Keep us posted with an ETA!
@TheMisterB
I can't update it until I get the source of the native server since I'm using it inside the plugin.
That's neither because of 1.4.2 nor is it even a bug. That's how the database generates the ids. Every id will only be used once at all. But don't worry, I don't think you'll make so much triggers that you'll ever run out of ids.
@kumpelblase2
Yeah, I thought that might be the issue. I'll just wait for an update then. One more issue, simply organization wise, is this: Let's say I make a trigger, and it has an id of 1. If I delete that one, then make another trigger, that trigger has the id of 2, even though there isn't a trigger with the id 1 anymore. Is that due to using Minecraft 1.4.2 as well?
@TheMisterB
Seems to me like you're using 1.4.2 craftbukkit, aren't you?
Whenever I make an NPC, the body moves in accordance to me, but the NPC's head stays looking in a single direction. Is this from a dependency or something, or how do I fix it?
@dfgbyu678
Well, I could also turn the question around: How about them adding the compatibility to Dragons Lair? It wouldn't be too hard for them to register their own event and listen on it.
Hey, I have a great idea! You should look into the idea of having compatibility with the EpicBoss plugin! You could add the ability to make a trigger spawn a boss made with this plugin. Here's a link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/epicboss/
@fungreenfox
Fixed.
part two http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Gvi3-aJPj does not exist.
