@rmh4209
Is it planned for them to work at some point? Otherwise people are getting alot of useless items from the drops.
@Oriayan
Some enchants only actually work while on particular items, like Respiration has to be on helmets for it to work.
Identity tomes cannot currently be sold through ChestShop if I'm remembering correctly, but can be sold through a similar plugin called SignChestShop by Technius.
@WorldOfBoon
That's odd. Can you make a ticket for us and include your Bukkit and DiabloDrops versions?
First of all Death_Marine and staff.....FREAKING AWESOME PLUGIN!!
Just started a server of my own with a buddy and we grabbed this up quick. Our only issue we've noticed so far is that certain enchants dont seem to work unless on the proper item.
Example: Player today got a shovel that had Respiration 4, but it didnt work while he was holding it and in water.
Is this supposed to be like this?
Also, are the Identifying Tomes able to be sold through something like ChestShop plugins?
@rmh4209
You don't use enchantments with heroes that modifies Damage, like protection, sharp, etc. Because they don't work.
I took my time to install the plugin anyway and I encountered a problem. After configuring the thing I successfully reloaded. by using /diablodrops reload
I restarted the server and now everytime I try to use anything /diablodrops related I just get this message: "/diablodrops [type]"
Same goes when I try to use /diablodrops reload. There are no logs in the console either.
@WorldOfBoon
I'm not sure what you're talking about with Heroes not recognizing enchantments. I'm using Heroes on my server with this installed and the enchantments work fine.
That being said, I'm sure we can work that out.
@Liger_XT5
That might be in the works in the future.
Can I disable certain enchantments? I use Heroes and it doesn't support all enchants.
I'd love to try this plugin.
@Luzitano
I agree. Though my server is not an adventure world server, it's a Hard Mode (not hard core) PVP Survival server. Many people would go and find mob spawners and farm their stuff and XP, now they are going out and actually fighting monsters for the loot.
I still find it funny when someone finds an item with odd enchants that only work if they smack something with it.
There is a small bug I noticed yesterday that caused a fair bit of havoc with the server which caused it to constantly restart. Apparently the ShopKeepers plugin does not like the items (after being repaired to have full health). Unknown characters apparently. I honestly laughed when I realized what was happening. It was due to the colored names bugging out when repaired at an anvil. I haven't tried having the items sold with their set damage values yet.
If I could make a future suggestion. A way to customize what types of loot percentage drop per monster. For instance, zombies are fairly easy to kill without taking much damage. So I'd like to be able to limit the chance of rarer items from dropping from them. Ghasts, creepers and skeletons are a bit harder to kill, so having a slightly higher chance would be fine.
Finally the plugin that my server was looking for !! I have an Adventure server (for friends) and i needed to make all my maps during weeks so ppl could start the adventure.. now i must pray to you becouse of this.. Im just so freaking happy that i could explode :P I will use your plugins and happly give you all the credits ! The mazes are freaking awsome and the loot... omg Im a Diablo III Player and bring that essence to Minecraft its just suberb.. u did an awsome job here guys ! Thumbs up for this plugin.. please dont let it die !
@fixer117
There's no way to set it less than 1 at this point. That may come in the next update.
I love the ruins in this plugin but even "1" is overpowered to me.. i set it to ".9" and it didn't seem to spawn any, is there any way I could set it lower than 1? I'd really like ruins to be rare.. not in every biome
@NeverEatSoggyWestz
For now, I'd say to stick with v0.3. It's not particularly complicated.
uploaded the config. as a side note, i have the lore, sockets, and unidentified options off. I just want to find overpowered enchanted stuff. the cool names are a plus. the sockets and extra stuff are a bit much for me to deal with.
@Vapor_Lock
It's being fixed in v1.2.
Can you please fix the fact that when players have items with lore and they have an item such as +1 blindness or something similar, when they receive damage, it causes the effect on them even though it is only supposed to hurt the attacked entity.
@NeverEatSoggyWestz
Have you updated your config.yml?
Made the ticket, ticket was acknowledged, said it was fixed. downloaded the file again, and the issue is still there. will they always have some damage on them, or is it supposed to be possible for them to drop undamaged items? i've gotten a few undamaged items, namely items from custom.yml and a few 1-off items. i want them to consistently drop as undamaged as they did in v0.3
@n33dy1
I believe that it will be read, but no drops will be given from it.
@NeverEatSoggyWestz
Very odd. Can you make a ticket for me?
If we set custom drops to false in the config.yml, then the custom.yml won't even be read at all, right?
