Announcer [v1.7.4]
Announcer is a very simple plugin, which only does what's its name told us. It automatically sends a broadcast out of a list controlled by a schedule.
Features:-
- Sends Scheduled Broadcast to all Players
- Easy to configure by 'config.yml' or ingame with the '/announce' or '/acc' command.
- Supports chat colors and newlines with &n.
- Supports executing commands inside Announcements. (Like "Now it will turn day!&n/time day")

can you make web links click-able though announcements?
Is there a way or could you add a means to make it announce specific lines when commanded. For example if a user breakes a rule one could out of type /Rule1 or in chat type !rule1. Something of the sort? P.S. Good plugin :)
Thanks for creating and sharing this plugin with us. Announcer 1.4.5 is working fine on my server which is CraftBukkit 1.6.4-R0.1, Java 1.7.0_25 (64-bit), Ubuntu Server 12.04.2 LTS (64-bit), PermissionsEx 1.20.2
EDIT 2013-12-10: Announcer 1.4.5 is working on CraftBukkit 1.7.2-R0.1, Java 1.7.0_45 (64-bit), PermissionsEx 1.20.4
Thanks,

@ShanGod
Hmm.. working just fine for me :)
This plugin doesn't work for 1.6.4 :/
Is there a way to broadcast the amount of online people? With "[ONLINE]"
@TheCoolGuy123_5_Minecraft Error log?
Ever since I've updated to 1.6.4, and very late version of 1.6.2, Announcer announces, and then crashed my server.
This plugin is awesome!
@Suprem20
Yh it is now, cause i change my site around, ill upload it to dropbox and edit the file location
The link for the source code seems to be broken.
@Jeruhmi
idk whats wrong there, its not happening for me
Weird, I installed the plugin and it keeps telling me to use '/announce help' when I type in the appropriate commands. When I type '/announce help' in it just comes up blank.
@VFX @declan
That's partially incorrect. Yes, stopping the server is a surefire way to update announcements... But kicks off all your players for a small amount of time, which isn't ideal in many cases.
Here's what to do...
Add the new announcements or delete existing ones...
then..
/announcer reload
If you do a whole /reload before an /announcer reload, it will reset your messages. However, if you /announcer reload, that locks it into the config. Done... no shutting down server.
@TheVFXGuy
/announce add &cI'm coloured!
@TheVFXGuy
Dont edit the config without stopping the server
The config.yml keeps resetting when I try to input a new line. I just lost a lot of announcements I've worked hard on to colour code and format. It's so damn frustrating!
I made sure that everything parses, but the yml file keeps screwing up the formatting as soon as the plugin is loaded by the server.
@Cattasraafe
if you put it on a separate line i think so
Been using this plugin a bit now. Was wondering does the plugin support links in anyway?
