12DaysOfChristmas
Features
Allows you to fully celebrate the 12 days of Christmas!
When a player logs in any day in December they will be given a countdown as to when Christmas will start. If it is one of the 12 days of Christmas then the player will get a message saying which one. If enabled in the config the players will receive an item based on which day it is. All items given are fully customizable. Giving items is disabled by default in the config file with no default items set to give.
Config
Your Default config should look something like this:
giveItems: false Day1: - 1 - 342 Day2: Day3: Day4: Day5: Day6: Day7: Day8: Day8: Day9: Day10: Day11: Day12:

or different types of logs etc.
@Bryce325
thanks i'll use it as is until its updated, thanks.
@ManBeastPigDev
For formatting you would have Day1: then each line below it would be - [itemID]
I did not remember to add support for multiple items.
I will add that in the next update and change the example to be more clear on setup.
What is the formatting for the items?
Day1: - 1 Should it be...
Day1: - Diamond,64
or something like that? is it names or numbers? and can i do quantity? tnx..
@Bryce325
My point is, the eve starting the 24th. and your script is telling everyday that there is x amount of days to christmas, which by counting, leads to the day of the 25th.
@Bryce325
perfect using it now.
a reload option would be nice if poss.
@fungreenfox
"Jul, the Danish Christmas, is celebrated throughout December starting either at the beginning of Advent or on December 1 with a variety of traditions. Christmas Eve, Juleaften, the main event of Yule, is celebrated on evening of December 24, the evening before the two Christmas holidays, December 25 and 26th. Celebrating on the eve before the holiday is also used for most other holidays in Denmark."
Close attention to this: Christmas Eve, Juleaften, the main event of Yule, is celebrated on evening of December 24, the evening before the two Christmas holidays, December 25 and 26th.0
Also here: "Danes celebrate Christmas Eve on December 24 and prolong the Christmas through December 25"
From everything I can research I find that Christmas is still on the 25th... Show me one place that says your Christmas is on the 25th. Kinda weird you can't tell the difference between christmas eve and christmas...
@Bryce325
Well, its the 24 th. here, christmas evening. If yuo do not compare for this, i can not use your plugin. When the script is reaching the 25.th, it has already been christmas here. And the script will lie everyday until then. Well, your plugin is not public friendly, and useless.
@ManBeastPigDev
Haha no the players only get the items the first time they log in.
If they log on 20 times , will they receive 20 gifts? My players are sneaky..
@fungreenfox
Actually I am not American, also it is on the 25th for most countries around the world. As another note when the date changes it is not based on where you live but which church you belong to.
Also you may open presents on that day where you live but I believe that it is still christmas eve.
"In Netherlands, Argentina, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Quebec, Romania, Uruguay, and Sweden, Christmas presents are opened mostly on the evening of the 24th, – this is also the tradition among the British Royal Family, due to their mainly German ancestry while in Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, English Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, this occurs mostly on the morning of Christmas Day."
Either way the 12 days of Christmas is not necesarily even part of the gift giving, the official date is on the 25th world wide as it is seperate from christmas day but instead over a period of time whether you agree with what I said above or not.
It seems to be made in USA, this script? There are other people in the world, than just "americans with christmas day of the 25".
Here in Denmark, official day is the 24., and what about other countries...
@Bryce325 Thank you very much! :)
@Lildirt
No problem it will be done soon.
Is it possible to quickly add the ability for it to only give items in a certain world? I have multiple worlds, and I don't want someone logging in to Creative for example, and getting the items. :P
Thanks!
