Yeah sorry. I mean you've done a great job so far, it's just that I feel this should be made for the joy of having this not money. Anyways. I had a dark brotherhood thing working once upon a time. I never released it but it gave player's contracts for players on the server.
Hey everybody, just a little update on v1.8 progress.
I'm back from my vacation now, so I'll be ironing out a couple bugs and work on the pickpocketing skill. I'm also going to make every feature configurable to be on/off, as requested by multiple people.
For those of you interested in where this plugin is ultimately going;
I want to incorporate an actual Dark Brotherhood like in Skyrim. I'm not sure yet what it will do, I'm thinking of maybe some missions assigned by them that get you rewards. Of course the whole thing will be configurable. If you have any ideas for the Dark Brotherhood itself, please let me know!
A: Thanks!
B: Well, I wasn't gonna put one but somebody requested that I put one up so he can donate so I did. I didn't realize that wasn't okay with you, sorry.
Also bit of lore the string is the lock pick item because of a book found in oblivion something The Thief of Virtue. The thief unlocked seven devious locks with a piece of string.
When exactly will you be back from vacation? I really need bugs fixing for this plugin. Thanks for not abandoning us even when you are on vacation tho. Have fun.
Btw if you are going to add pickpocketing, take a look at OpenInv and Thieves. Thieves is a pretty well made pickpocketing plugin.
Decompiling did odd format changes, I think. I will wait for you to get back to view the actual code. This will help me understand your new changes more though. :D Enjoy your vacation!
Nice! If you could try to migrate that code over to 1.7.5, that'd be excellent. The source files are all in the jar. If you get it working, just PM me the download link and I'll upload it as 1.7.6. :)
That might be the case. I have found that it throws that error if i stop the server when nobody has done anything too. I wasn't able to pinpoint what causes it, but then file i/o is something I have not read up on.
EDIT: I have fixed the Null Pointer Exception that is occasionally thrown on save (in my private version). I changed the HashSet for the mana (aka energy) from <Player,Integer> to <String,Integer> and the references to this from Player to player.getName() in the other files. Seems it was trying to get Player Object information while it was stored-and-read from file as a string, if I had to guess.
I think this has to do with saving a players energy. When I playing around in the code, it appeared to save the chests to file, just not the energy every time

Also what's with the vault dependency? Why not just use plain super perms?

Demanding for a feature to be added is not appropriate, especially since I have posted multiple times below that I am on vacation.
LOL jk its cool bress. Yes I'm really gonna add pickpocketing, don't worry.
Are you gonna add pickpocketing? Cause if not im gonna switch to blothera assassin :P JK! but seriously I want pickpocketing NOWWWWW!
@nhoclesnar
Sorry about that. I'll fix it when I get home from vacation, which would be Saturday. :)
This error spams my console while a NPC is attacking a zombie...
@woodendinosaur
Yeah, it tends to do that. We'll wait then. Thanks, I am! :D

@woodendinosaur
Yeah, try decompiling then. Hopefully it doesn't change the code around too much.
@_InnoKo_
iMint, there are only class files for the newest build i the latest jar. Edit: attempting a decompile.
Hey guys.
Sorry I haven't been on lately, I'm on vacation for a week so I can't work on anything until Saturday night. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Huzzah! just got LWC working with the new lock system on a 1.7.1 based build.
Another error appeared when I tried to lock a double chest.
@nhoclesnar

@woodendinosaur
Ah that's weird because I didn't do anything that consume energy. Wooden you and iMint should work together :)
