What is 'Damage Control'

Damage Control allows you to change the damage on your server. You can set the damage of any item you want. For example you can tell the plugin that, if a Player is hit by a Player who has a stoneblock in his Hand the damage is increased by 5.

You can modify the Damage fo each world. To cange the damage in a world go to the plugins folder of your server and open DamageControl/worlds. There will be a textfiles named after the worlds on your server (e.g. 'world.yml', 'world_nether.yml', ...). Detailed information on how to change damage will be in the ReadMe.txt, which is located in the 'plugins/DamageControl' folder after the plugin is installed on the server.

Permissions can be enabled in the config. If permissions is set to true, the plugin will check the permission 'cd.item.[ItemID]' or 'cd.item.[ItemID].[World]' (The World is the world where the player is in, The ItemID is the item the Player has in his hand while dealing damage.)

Available permissions are:

  • cd.item.[ItemID]: The Players damage of the Item is set to the config value in every world.
  • cd.item.[ItemID].[World]: The Players damage of the Item is set to the config value in the given world.
