Description
This plugin is all about implementing a simple way to have custom levels on your server. It allows you to enter a level and how much xp it will take to get there. The best part? The xp bar correctly displays the user's xp level!
Getting Started
Simply drop the plugin in the plugins folder! From there boot up the server and let the configuration file be generated. Then you can edit the config to add your custom levels. The formatting is "1 150". 1 is for the next level, and 150 is how much xp it takes to reach that level. Make sure your remove "none" from the config, and start with level 1. The last level you enter will be the highest the player can achieve.
Permissions
cl.* - Allows the user to use all commands
cl.reload - Allows a user to reload the config file
cl.help - Displays the commands for the plugin
Commands
/cl reload - Reloads the config
/cl help - Shows the plugin commands

Posted Aug 3, 2017Hi everyone. I'm happy to see that people are still using this plugin. Sadly, I don't have the time I used to have when I was making plugins (I was in college then). If I get some time I will update it for 1.11 and 1.12. If any other Bukkit developers want to work on the project, you can visit my GitHub repo for it and fork it.

When my level reaches 10, so it will be wrong.

Posted Dec 15, 2016I can confirm that this plugin works for Minecraft 1.9.4 as intended using the 1.8 version. XP bar works as I imagined at intervals that correlate with the amount of XP needed for level up, even going from 0 to 1 which requires 7 XP at vanilla.
If the author is still updating the plugin and has the source code, I'd like to request that the game messages be in a messages.yml so that when my players have max level (mine will be 40) then I can disable the message that informs the player that they've reached the maximum level as it can clog the game chat quite easily.
Either the configurable messages or an addition to the config that says "messages: false" that will disable "[Custom Leveling] You have reached the highest level!".

The first build of the plugin was for 1.8, but because I had a few people request a version for 1.7.10 I built one. Download version 1 for 1.8
