CreeperHeal
CreeperHeal
CREEPERHEAL HAS MOVED TO SPIGOT
Protects your server against Creepers, TNT, and griefers!
CreeperHeal is more than a griefing protection plugin : it repairs the damage done by explosions (Creepers, TNT, etc...) and fire, in a natural way! Stay a while after a Creeper made a hole, and you will see the terrain pop back slowly, block per block, exactly as it was before the explosion! That way, your players will still be afraid of Creepers, but your server will continue looking nice!
- Anti-Griefing features
- Natural healing of the terrain after an explosion
- Fully customisable
- Easy installation and configuration
- Now compatible with WG
How do I disable the limit? The option for sand and gravel to not fall won't work for me: prevent-block-fall: true
lightweight-mode: false
Anybody know if this working with 1.4 yet?
Hey since you added ignore faction wilderness, can you add an option to ignore faction claimed land? Thanks
@diannetea
No, it's not implemented. It would complicate the config a bit too much for very specific cases, I think, so I doubt I will do it...
Curiously, is there a way to make every type of damage toggleable under certain levels?
I have someone on my server who wants to build a huge underground cavern but we don't want permanent creeper damage so I'd like to be able to have tnt only explode under 64 but have creeper damage healed on all levels
@Quinnatator
Bukkit is not yet compatible for 1.4.2. The dev build I'm working with right now appears not to fire the entity explode event, so I'm not going to promote a CH version until I'm sure it works. Wait for a recommended build is my advice here, guys, or at least a beta one.
UPDATE : I'm releasing a beta build, but it hasn't been thoroughly tested yet, and some features don't work (e.g. painting replacement). To use with caution.
@Ordush I have had the same error. Please create a compatible version with 1.4.2. Thanks.
@fonkfader
How did you get it to work on 1.4.2? i get errors: 2012-10-30 15:16:08 [SEVERE] Could not load 'plugins/CreeperHeal.jar' in folder 'plugins' org.bukkit.plugin.InvalidPluginException: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/nitnelave/CreeperHeal/CreeperHeal : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0
@nitnelave
work fine in 1.4.2 but there is a dangerous bug : if a head ( mob or player) is rollback after an explosion the head become the wither head boss, so dangerous :)
@Switch0r
I haven't had time to test sith 1.4.2, but I'm preparing a new version that will, among other things, support sithers, so yeah, it will support 1.4.2 But maybe the current one already support 1.4,2, I don't know.
Is it safe to use this on cb 1.4.2 ?
@joehot200
I'll se what I can do, but withers will definitely be supported soon.
@BotInPerson
Thanks for the details, I'll have a look.
@EpicPie011
i TOTALLY agree! if you hadnt updated, nitnelave, i dont know what i would have done! one question, could you please make it heal the wither? i am finding greifers are spawning withers by the spawn, and killing everyone! (well and greifing)
thankyouthankyouthankyou for updating :D
@nitnelave
Thtat's how I had it configured... BTW: It's not the blocks around it falling, that break it... It's the blocks getting regenerated in the air and then fall down.
@BotInPerson
That's what the prevent-fall setting is for. When activated, blocks around an explosion don't fall. But (I think) you have to have the lightweight option off for that.
@nitnelave
Could you please change the mechanic of rebuilding destroyed blocks so that sand and gravel are put in at the very end? This would prevent the terrain from changing and getting messed up after an explosion at a beach or in a dessert for example. :) This is how it currently looks like... Before:

@nitnelave
Sorry about that I use a different IDE..., the version number in the error relates to the version of Java your plugin was compiled against:
So I just compiled against J2SE 6.0 instead of 7. The only thing I really had to do was comment out line 346 in CreeperUtils.java
@eccentricnz
What did you change? The way you put it on github prevents from seeing file modifications. As for the error, check the version number, you must have a 51.1 somewhere instead of a 5.1.1
@nitnelave
Here is the console error for version 5.1.1b

@nitnelave
Forked here: https:github.com/eccentricdevotion/CreeperHeal
Yep, basically recompiled using Java 1.6
