CopyPaste

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

CopyPaste is a quick and dirty way to copy a bunch of blocks to a new location, including a different world. Use it by selecting two opposing corners of the rectangle you want to copy, then tell it where to paste. The copy will replicate all blocks in that region from bedrock to sky. This plug-in was created because I needed to take buildings from an old world to a new as I wanted to eliminate that old world. It can have other uses for other people, therefore it is now available to all. Enjoy!

Features

  • Copy a selectable section of blocks to a new location.
  • Works between worlds.
  • Chest contents come along too.
  • Direction and heights are maintained.
  • Remembers copied region until the "Cancel" command is issued (for multiple pastes).
  • Can be undone (only last paste)
  • Sound Effects!

Commands

  • /copy fromHere: select the first corner of region to copy
  • /copy toHere: select opposing corner of region to copy
  • /copy paste: Paste the copied region
  • /copy undo: Undoes the last pasted region
  • /copy cancel: Cancels the selection process

Permissions

  • Only OP's can use this.

Installation Instructions

  • Download file (link on your right)
  • Stick it in your "plugins" folder
  • That's it! No configuration.
Note

You may die of either suffocation or falling when pasting land of different heights. Its recommended to not have anything with you that you care about when using these commands.

Please use the "/copy cancel" command when done, as copying large regions of land will take up a large chunk of your memory and will be stored until the "cancel" command is issued.
