CoolText
CoolText is a plugin made to allow simple (but fancy) text functionality into Bukkit! It allows for: a title/subtitle on join, a tab header and footer, a JSON compatible join message, and a JSON compatible announce message with a user-set interval (in seconds).
To edit the messages, enter a JSON formatted message in the config.yml for the desired message (leave blank BUT KEEP THE SINGLE QUOTES for no message)
For variables, use @p for player name and @w for the current name of the world the player is in.
So if my name was "I_Like_Pie", and the config had a message like: "Have fun, @p!", I would see: "Have fun, I_Like_Pie!"
You would do the same for the world name (the world name has the underscores replaced with spaces)

Posted Jul 6, 2015this is very nice, I also like plugins that don't force you to have a permissions plugin.
One feature that I wish this had and not think any other has is the following...
lets say server owner creates in an announcement in the config an [X] at the end or beginning of the announcement that becomes a clickable link to execute 1 of two plugins that your users have for the plugin. The link does /annignore for example. the other command would be /annreset
/annignore would record on file the users uuid and the specific message that the user does not want to see again. /annreset would dump the users ignore file so he/she would see everything again.

It works, it's well made and it has functionality. It is infact rather different to ScreenText, as it has chat messages and a header and footer in tab too. You might want to READ what it says. I noticed you didn't read the ScreenText one either from your comments on there...
