About Me
Hi, I'm 13 and this will be my first plugin. I know I might be young but I could have great potential. I just had an idea one day while I was on my Bukkit server, to start creating custom plugins to match what I needed instead of taking forever to search on the Bukkit forums or come here to Dev Bukkit and look for the plugins I need. So from now on most of the plugins on my server will be created by me and I will be sharing them with you guys. After this plugin is released my server, BoxCraft, will be the official Construction plugin home. If you guys would like to check it out, it's 108.170.34.154:25593
What is Construction?
Basically, Construction is a plugin that allows you to select two points with a tool of your choice (You can pick your tool in the config.yml) and type the command given below to create a Construction area, where only OPs/Admins and the Construction creator can enter the area. If your try to enter the area an you're not OP/Admin or the creator of the Construction area, then you will be teleported out and you will recieve the message: 'This area is under Construction!' The .JAR file will be ready soon!
Commands
To create a Construction area:
/construction create (Construction Name) or /c create (Construction Name)
/construction remove (Construction Name) or /c remove (Construction Name)
Installation
- Download the JAR file
- Put the JAR file in your plugins directory
- Reload your server
- Enjoy your plugin!
Updates
- I will be soon implementing a protection feature so that you may protect the area after it is finished undergoing Construction.

Yeah, do you have a Skype? My skype is skyrim.is.awesome.123 and my full name is Ryan Hund. I'm kind of stuck at one part I get this one error in my code, and I can't seem to resolve it so I'll come back to it later. Thank god it's a Saturday, I'll have all day to work on my code.

You could open a github so your code is stored online (though open source)

It comes in handy when trying to fix bugs as other developers can see trough your code and might notice it faster then you do and can come up with a fix
Makes it more easy for you and less time consuming

Posted Nov 23, 2012I'm really bummed out. My computer just got the Blue Screen of Death and I just lost all the code up until this morning which is basically nothing, but I'm gonna work as hard as I can and save my work constantly to bring this plugin up ASAP.

Posted Nov 23, 2012Thanks for the support guys! I have loads of ideas! Like something similar to Factions called MCGuilds and a protection plugin called WatchDog. I can't wait to release them to the public. I'm cleaning up the code and going through the bugs as I type this!

Posted Nov 23, 2012Hey there, i think this is a great idea for your first plugin! A lot of people will probably be thinking that you can do the same thing with WorldGuard, however, this allows you to do it without the whole flag fuss. Great, keep on the good work!
