ColorMatch
ColorMatch
Another nice minigame!
You get a colored wool in your Inventory and you have to jump onto the corresponding color! Multiple arenas can be set up that are joinable via signs/commands. As of now the last man standing wins, which can't be changed. See further information and configuration options down below.
Setup
Pex doesn't care about OP, you need to give yourself the permissions!
- Set the main lobby where all join signs will be: /cm setmainlobby
For each new arena:
- /cm createarena [name]
- Set the waiting lobby (different than the main lobby!): /cm setlobby [name]
- Setup the minigame (will create a 64x64 area full with wool, be aware of that!): /cm setup [name]
To create a join sign:
1st line: colormatch; 3rd line: arenaname
Creating a join sign requires the permission cm.sign or colormatch.sign.
Smaller Arenas
As of v1.5 you can also create smaller arenas. The setup is the same except for one command, /cm setup is now /cm setupsmall. It will create an 32x32 arena and not the default 64x64 arena, which is good for small servers with less ram.
Glass/Clay mode
As of v1.5.3 you can also create glass arenas. The setup is the same except for one command, /cm setup is now /cm setupglass. This will generate a normal arena but with stained glass in different colors. As of v1.5.5 clay arenas are possible, too.

Kits
Every kit besides the default one requires a permission, colormatch.kit.[kitname]. You can select a kit ingame by typing /cm changekit [name].
You can also add unlimited kits, but be aware that errors might appear, if the potioneffect is not valid. You can find a list of Potioneffects here.
default: name: default potioneffect: SPEED amplifier: 1 lore: The default class.
Arena Difficulty
You can set the difficulty for each arena as of v1.4. Simply do /cm setdifficulty [arenaname] [difficulty] to change it.
Possible difficulties are:
Difficulty | Description |
---|---|
0 | Easy |
1 | Default |
2 | Hard |
The Logarithm:
On each round, the following time is calculated for the next round. d is the difficulty, which can be 0, 1 or 2. 80L can be seen as 4 seconds (20L = 1 second). You can use the following function to determine the seconds in ticks for a round, if you're a big mathematician:
f(x) = 80 - (d * 20) - (4 * x)

Additional Information
You can find the source code here.
You can try this plugin out at server.kamoworld.com. ColorMatch is also included in MinigamesParty.
This plugin uses hidendra's Metrics system to send server related information like player count, java/bukkit/plugin version etc. to the official MCStats servers. You can disable this in the config.yml in plugins/PluginMetrics/.
The plugin also uses an autoupdater which can be turned off in the config (see above in the config section).
Have fun :)
this plugin have much lag plig change it
Can you add permission to access kit (for VIP grade) please? :)
can u add custom barapi and woldedit support? worldedit to to custom arenas and bar api to look fancy ? :D
@MGbeenieboy
I'm using 1.7.6 and receiving similar reports from two different players.
@instancelabs
i tested with 4 players. We played two times. The first time, everything was good. Everyone had his levels and items. But after the second game, 2 players lost their inventory (except for their armor).
what is the perm for players joining a game becuase this game is only for my donators. So i want too deny access for my regular players.
@MGbeenieboy
Still the same error? Try doing another setup, because it simply doesn't find the spawn.
@xInfamouZChannel
Are there any errors you are experiencing in the console? If so, please list them! Thanks for shedding some light on this issue! :)
Please fix that annoying basic bugs like arenas running forever while there are no players inside, plugin causing lag, the announcement of the winner being spammed twice.!
Running the new 1.7.6 on our server and it's working great! Check it out :)
as always great work!!!
@MGbeenieboy
Could this be because of another plugin you're using?
strange O.o sometimes players lose their inventory, sometimes not...
@angryzomboss
It is not complex at all. For such a good game, it has only 1 main command. Then you just setup the lobby, mainlobby and config the amount of min/maxplayers.
You can create the arena, depending on what mode you want (clay, glass, wool, 32 x 32, 64x 64). However after this, you can make a map, it does not restrict you to build around the arena. The only thing you can't do, is destroy the blocks created from the plugin. These will regenerate and destroy anything on the same height level as those blocks. You can build above or below it as much as you would like though! If you have any further questions, ask! :)
@instancelabs: Can you at least make it have walls?
@instancelabs
Looks Compelx! But not.
@instancelabs
WorldEdit and WorldGuard are up-to-date. I set it up following the instruction in the german tutorial video (the lowest). 1. createarena 2. setup 3. setlobby 4. setmainlobby (at the same position as the arena lobby) 5. setdifficulty (1) 6. setminplayers/ setmaxplayers (both 32)
Edit: I uploaded a file to address both known issues, v1.7.6
@McPlayHD
So you'd like VIP Arenas? I can add that, sure.
@MGbeenieboy
Well normally you don't lose your stuff, but in your case it's an error which happens because of outdated Worldguard/Worldedit plugins and breaks ColorMatch, I'll investigate more on that. Edit: Turns out it simply doesn't find the player spawn, you sure you did everything right in the setup?
@borncorp
/cm endall just stops all scheduled tasks in case something bad happens, that was needed in prior versions because of a bug. Regarding the restart thing, will look into it.
@borncorp
Hmmm, that's interesting. I just tried it while 2 people were in an arena. I restarted and I got the 2/10 text on my sign, but it wasn't glitched. I could still right-click it and go back inside, and play with another person. Maybe there is some error in your config? I'm not sure, I'll let the owner take a closer look at this issue. Thanks for posting it! :)
@BucketConfigured
When the server restarts the Colormatch arenas are playing. When the server is back up the sign says 2/10 players are still in game, but if I try to click it nothing happens, no error on console, nothing. So players cant play until an admin recreates the join sign.
Also, /cm endall doesnt do anything, the games are still going, even when the plugin is working fine.
