ClearLagg
Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.
- Permission support
- Entity limiter
- Reduces lag
- Decreasing RAM/CPU usage
- Ability to stop a TNT chain reaction
- Option to limit mob spawners
- Locate overcrowded/abused chunks
- Many easy to use commands
- Real-time module controls
- Very lightweight - only enables selected features
- Remove old logs upon enabling server
- Limit AI processing attributes
- Console support for most commands
- Can adjust times when the server is cleared of lagg
- Completely configurable

This plugin contains an auto-updater which will request, or download, updated files of Clearlag directly from this page. To disable this feature, open the config.yml, under plugins/Clearlag, and set auto-update to false.
Please do not post an issue until you've fully read the config located under /plugins/Clearlag/config.yml

@Sk8Sanctified
We'll see, I'm taking a small break from development.
Just curious, going to update CL today.
Does this newest version allow the clear warning to work for the entity limit check? I remember from previous version, once the max limit was reached. It would just clear the items with no warning. I would like the warning and delay to work for the limiter as well, so players can have some time to get there items if they had just died.
My bad for the long post if the warning works now for the limiter, felt I had to explain myself for some reason :P
@Speedrookie
Just do /ci lol
OK I WANT TO CLEAR MY INVENTORY AND I CAN BECAUSE TO CLEAR YOU INV IS /CLEAR BUT WHEN I DO THAT IT IS AN ALIAS FOR THIS PLUGIN!
@bob7l
i will try it now and i tell you what happend :)
Thank you it's works :)
@alqahtani
You can either start using /ci or do the following:
Get WinRAR
Open ClearLag.jar with WinRAR
Open plugin.yaml
Remove the aliases commands under commands, lagg
@Xyclade
Maybe i can help. Best to pm this to me but if you list your plugins we can find if something may be causing a confliction with clearlagg. If not it can also be your setup. Reason why is say it's your fault this plugin doesn't run correctly on your server is because i tested every command/permission and sequence (most sequences) you can set this plugin into and tested it with other plugins to see if it can be that sort of problem but it's not. So list your plugins and config for the server and also explain a 1.2.3. set on how this is causing a problem.
@bob7l
Ok then there is simply no other option than to stop using Clearlagg on our server.
there is a problem when i use your plugin
there is a command /clear to clear the inventory when i use /clear it show me all clearlagg commands can you fix that because it's so important to me :)
@bob71
Thanks for the clarification.
I used the old config-file when(I think) the listed mobs were NOT to be removed(at least that how I thought it was), and had not realized the problems until recently when all the farm-animals disappeared.
Oh well...time to redo the config.yml file and start breeding animals again.
EDIT: Hmm...I went back and checked config.yml file that came with 1.8.0: What does this mean?
That's where I listed all my farm-animals and Villager[NPC's](with proper spelling&capitalization). However, they all disappeared.
@Xyclade
Only you are having this issue, it could be a conflicting plugin.
@bob7l
Well the strange thing is, we are not using those commands when the server crashes...
I had removed the plugin for 1 complete day and had 0 problems.
Just installed it again, and it gave me problems within an hour after installation...
Removed it now again, waiting for a fix... if it comes :/
@Ugpzt
Why don't you read the config setup?
Hmm, perhaps I messed up some settings, but all the farm animals disappeared?
The names in the config.yml are for those to BE REMOVED ?
@Xyclade
It could be /lagg chunk, or /lagg unloadchunk because that command requires a bit more speed to clear chunks. I was able to do it without a performance impact on a 2.1ghz, dual core laptop without an impact though so maybe it's just you.
@ronfkingswanson
Are you using the latest build? It wont even register the updater class if update is false.
As soon as I updated to 1.8.0 with bukkit version 1.4.6 R3 (beta) it started randomly dcing all players online every now and then, followed by making it impopssible to login (for all players) for a minute.
The server hooks completely during that time, but no errors are produced. Im 100% sure that it is clearlagg as When i removed the plugin it stopped crashing like that.
I hope you can somehow find the problem, server details: Fedora 17 8GB mem 2.4GHZ quadcore Craftbukkit V1.4.6 R3 (beta) plugins: Coreprotect Lockette ClearLag Dynmap
Good luck, and sorry i cant provide any error logs. Though it commonly happens together with the world save tick
I suspect the /lagg chunk and tpchunk commands though :X
this is getting silly - every time bukkit.org goes down (502 errors, frequent recently), ClearLagg throws an error on startup which prevents it from working during that session, and eventually locks up the server. This, despite my having set the config to *not* auto-update. Can you please not have it ping the RSS?

Getting this error on startup, seems to work though: http://pastebin.com/H5mxEc0R
