Chatomizer is a chat plugin that allows for players to choose a style they wish to receive chat messages in. Styles are configured by admins in the chatFormats.yml file for players to choose in-game with a command. The plugin is compatible with Vault so you can use prefixes and suffixes from a permissions plugin.

This is a chat plugin on its own, so it is most likely incompatible with any other chat plugins out there right now since it cancels the standard player chat event. .

  • Customizable chat formats
  • Chat format per player
  • Permissions to allow what formats are available to players
  • Simple API using a 'MultiChatEvent' offered by Chatomizer
  • Vault integration for prefixes and suffixes

An example chat format configuration file can be found here.

This plugin automatically checks BukkitDev for new versions, but does NOT automatically download them. You can disable this update check by setting 'Check for updates' to 'false' in the config.yml for the plugin.
