ChatNotify

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

ChatNotify

Sometimes, on larger servers it an be hard to read all the messages, so we made this plugin to fix that. Whenever a player's username is mentioned in chat, another, coloured, message will appear to get their attention. Only they will see this message.

Features

  • Sends a player a notification when their username is mentioned in chat.
  • Lang.yml file for custom notifications.

Installation

Just drag and drop the ChatNotify.jar into your /plugins folder. Then restart or reload your server and you're good to go!

Found something wrong?

If one of your plugins installed is conflicting with ChatNotify then send me a ticket including the plugin name, version, and your Craftbukkit Build Number. If you have found a bug, send me a ticket including the server log. Please do not report bugs or conflicts in the comments!

Upcoming Features

  • A sound is played when a notification is received.
  • Players can set aliases which, if mentioned, will trigger a notification too.
  • Enable and disable commands.
  • Disable override for Admins.
