ChatLikeMe
ChatLikeMe
Description
ChatLikeMe is a chat format plugin, it contains various values that you can use in your format. Will add more on request.
Config
The config of this plugin can be somewhat confusing sometimes.
So please look here for information: Click me to go to the configuration help!
Extra stuff
Any format part that has no value will be removed from the format, so if you have a prefix part in the main format but you don't have a prefix then it won't show it.
Example for this:
I have as format : "{PermissionGroupPrefix}<%s> %s"
If I would have a prefix "Durp" then it would show this: "[Durp]<timtower> Test"
If I don't have a prefix then it would show this: "<timtower> Test"
Probably something that server admins will like, no unneeded parts of the message.
I want more formats!
Create a ticket with a request for them, it needs to contain these things:
- What do you want to show
- Where does the value come from? Link if from a different plugin

@Timtower
no, it is on different ladder.
@gino1631
In that case: is the VIP the main group of the player? If so: that is a bad thing.
@Timtower
It has, actually it works when player is not a vip.
@gino1631
Does the player group has a prefix then? That is required for this format to work.
@Timtower
It won't work properly, when i give donor group to normal player he just lose his prefix.
Normally:
[Player] TheDarkOtaku: Hi!
with VIP group:
[][VIP] TheDarkOtaku: Hi!
What i want to happen:
[Player][VIP] TheDarkOtaku: Hi!
@gino1631
@Timtower
Can you give me an example? I'm confused.
@gino1631
That can be done with a {PermissionGroupPrefix} and a PermFormat.
PermFormat would be the VIP part, the group prefix the players rank.
I am using PEX, how can i implement multiple prefixes using this plugin?
Ex. When player is donor:
[Player][VIP] Playername: Hello!
Ex: Moderator is donor:
[MOD][VIP] Playername: Hello!
@gino1631
Config generates that on its own if the section doesn't exist
Example for permsformat please?
@MrFlashSpray
Has nothing to do with 1.8 or spigot.
It is due to invalid yml in the default config and some missing fields.
Is fixed, new version is 0.0.7
@Timtower
Error. On Spigot 1.8
http://pastebin.com/ic4R8XNk
@MrFlashSpray
That is the server time, the one that you see in the bottom right corner.
And I can't help if you don't post the error.
How it stand with the "real time" prefix? thingie? And can you update it to 1.8? (When i try on 1.8 it's got an error)
@hsndmrts
For the prefix: make a ticket.
For the spigot 1.8: I am only using the API, I don't need to update
hi, are you add "real time" prefix? and can you update spigot 1.8.3?
@InPaniCsz
That is possible in the Formats section, go to the item that you want to change, then the format item.
@Timtower
Make it able to change the inside of the prefix like &8{&6world&8}
if it's possible to do it already, I don't know how.
