Changelog

10/05/15 - Initial Release!

  • Plugin uploaded, first release! - Bold, Italics etc not supported at the moment.

11/05/15 - Big Update!!

  • Now supports bold / italics etc! Make sure to put a space between the color and the modifier!
  • Doing /chatcolor <color> [modifier] now only changes it for you! To change the global chat color, do /chatcolor global <color> [modifier]!
  • Updated to be completely UUID based, supporting all name changes!
  • Hope you guys enjoy the quick update!

11/05/15 - Individual Changing!

  • You can now change an individual player's chat color! (See Main Page for details)
  • Squashed a few bugs in the code.
  • Added a load more permissions to be a lot more customisable!
  • Enjoy!

11/05/15 - Bugs Squashed!

  • A llloooooaaaddd of errors in ChatColor-v1.2.jar (the beta release) have been tackled and destroyed!
  • These bugs included: - /chatcolor global <invalidcolor> would create an error in the console. - /chatcolor global <color> [modifier] would not work at all, returning a NullPointerException. - Wrong methods used in the code, all fixed now. - Config is now correctly saved and loaded from the file, removing (hopefully) all errors on that side.
  • Fixed / Changed a few grammar errors (just me and my spelling :( )
  • Please report any bugs you find! It really helps!

12/05/15 - Bugs & Player /checkcolor!

  • A few major bugs squashed, fixing /chatcolor <player> <color>.
  • A few grammatical changes.
  • You can now do /checkcolor <player> !
  • More code added, although you can't see it ;)
  • Running out of ideas, please post comments with new ideas!!
  • Enjoy!

12/05/15 - Mini Update

  • Fixed a massive bug / error which caused new players to have a 'null' color, messing up the message. - Messages no longer come up as "nullmessage" for new players, it will now come up as "message" in a white color.
  • I have actually been trying to fix this for ages, so I'm pretty happy :P

12/05/15 - More Modifiers Update! (Part 1)

  • Added the possible use of two modifiers. - You can now do /chatcolor <color> [modifier] [modifier] - Not currently supported with setting other players or setting the global chat color.
  • Enjoy!

13/05/15 - More Modifiers Update! (Part 2)

  • Added the possible use of two modifiers. - You can now do /chatcolor [player] <color> [modifier] [modifier] - Still not compatible with setting the global color.
  • Enjoy! Next update coming later today.

13/05/15 - More Modifiers Update! (Part 3, Final)

  • Two modifiers can now be used with every single ChatColor command! - You can now do /chatcolor [player/global] <color> [modifier] [modifier]
  • Lots of changes to the code, however this doesn't matter to you guys :P
  • Enjoy!
  • Out of ideas again, please suggest more in the comments! Thank you to SoptikHa2 for the idea of two modifiers!

15/05/15 - Even More Modifiers!!! (Part 1)

  • Three modifiers can now be used with every command! - You can now do /chatcolor [player/global] <color> [modifier] [modifier] [modifier]
  • Fixed a couple of things, including the server no longer broadcasts someone's color when they join.
  • This update is part 1 of the Even More Modifiers update. Four modifiers will be released soon!
  • Hope you guys enjoy!

16/05/15 - Even More Modifiers!!! (Part 2, Final)

  • FOUR, I repeat, four modifiers can now be used with every single command in this plugin! - You can now do /chatcolor [player/global] <color> [modifier] [modifier] [modifier] [modifier] !!
  • No more fixes, I haven't found any more bugs!
  • Once again, out of ideas. Thanks to VNMineND for the idea of even more modifiers! Thanks guys so much for the huge amount of positive feedback and a nice amount of downloads. This is my first public plugin, so it is really appreciated. If you have any more ideas for features, please post them in the comments like usual!
  • Until next time, enjoy, and goodbye!
