Glacy Chat Colors
Glacy ChatColors
What is it?
Glacy ChatColors is a very simple and lightweight plugin which enables chat colors in messages without having to manually type the color codes. You can have different colors for players and admins, and players can choose their own color if they have the correct permission node.
Default Config
default-color: '&e' admin-color: '&c'
- default-color = The default color of messages sent by players.
- admin-color = The color of messages from people who have the correct permission node.
Commands & Permissions
Commands | Description | Permission |
---|---|---|
/cc (color code) | Changes the color of your messages (Overrides the default player and admin colors) | glacy.chatcolors.changecolor |
none | Makes the color of your message to the admin color (configured in the config) | glacy.chatcolors.admincolor |
@bigscary
I thought it was /cc 0 aswell. I was doing that for a minute and then saw your comment and I'm like... Ohhhhhh.
Also, it would be really good if you could add in permission nodes for each colour too. I don't want my users to have access to 0, 1 or f.
Thanks, - DoctorDerp
Would be nice if the help were a little better. Could give an example so it's clear & is required, or even better, don't require it (add it if the player doesn't specify). I was confused and tried:
/cc 0
And it told me 0 isn't a color, but 0-9 and a-f are colors. :\
Correct command was:
/cc &0
can you edit the config yourself to make more then just default and admin groups for colours?
Can you add something where you can do bold? - Thanks :D
Love this, great simple plugin

Fixed in latest version (v1.0.1)
There seems to be a problem witht the permissions inwhich it says that the player doesn't have the permission to do that (/cc (colour code) even though they have the node glacy.chatcolors.changecolor yet it works when you are OP
I have a request. Can you add something so that if you wanted to talk in &.b and &.l and &.o then you can do something like /cc &b&l&o for the chat color. Thanks!
P.S Without the dots between, hen I just use the color code without the dot in between, it posts weird.
