Apologies to everyone who has been using this. I was only recently able to get my account back, and haven't been able to update this in forever. This project has been taken over by Bitdagger, and you can find the current version hosted under his account.

@jorisk322 Okay, it's not the database. For some reason it gives PvP protection to players who aren't new, and I can't disable their protection. /campfire timeleft says it's already expired, yet they still can't be attacked. :(

It saves just fine if you use /stop
I'm having issues with Campfire on 1.4.6 beta. The database seems to be reset on every server restart. I had to temporarily disable the plugin. Could you look into this and maybe update? Thanks. :)

Hey bro, I love your plugin and so do my players. I want to inform you of one minor bug that happens sometimes when the server ends abruptly. This has happened twice to me (first my VPS shut down for maintenance without informing me, then the server crashed due to a memory leak in a CB dev build). The problem when this kind of abrupt crashes happen is Campfire's database gets completely wiped and everyone gets their PvP protection back. I wouldn't support dev builds if I were a plugin dev but I'm just letting ya know. :P
You guys should definitely update this.

Can you also make it so that protected players cannot be set on fire by fire effects? (I am referring to Guns+ plugin, it is using flint:xxxx) or Molotov Cocktails (referring to Grenades http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/mech-fun-grenadespack-v1-0-create-your-very-own-grenades-spout-1-1-r7.62762/)

With me the problem was a NPC getting stuck in a hole and not being able to follow his path.
Im having the same flood of errors on my console. Also the /campfire terminate command isn't working. Running CraftBukkit 1.2.5 R4
When I just looked at my server log I saw the following error, like 100 times:

I have CB 1.2.5 R1 and the latest version of campfire.
I like the concept, but the announcement serverwide is very obnoxious. I have to uninstall until you remove that feature...

Nice plugin so far. Can you make it so ahh server admins can set what players can or can't not break/place. I only wanted this for the pvp part and I can't find a different plugin that does the same.
Hi! I love your plugin but I have a problem. I give my donors access to Essentials' /nick command to change their nickname. Every time a player does this, a new Campfire user with that nickname is created with a brand new protection. Is there a way you can change Campfire to use a player's real IGN instead of display name? I'm no coder but I think there's a common API for this.

When users /campfire terminate it STILL counts down on their screen. Confusing.
If you're getting that problem then you have probably done a /reload, which tends to break a lot of things in recent versions of bukkit. I haven't ever seen that problem without doing a /reload. The source of that problem stems from a permission loading problem and desync issue when plugins are reloaded.
I don't know how to fix it since I don't really know what the source of the problem is, as doing a /reload shouldn't affect the plugin at all, since it saves its data and kills all sync'd tasks on unload and loads data and starts a new task on reload.
There's something that really troubles my players, and I've considered deleting the plugin because of it.
When a player's protection expires, they continue to be under protection, even though the server announces "{player}'s protection expired!" In order for the to be out of protection, players have to manually do /campfire terminate, the /campfire confirm.. This gets very annoying, and I've been searching for answers, but there are none. Thanks for reading.
